Ashtonne Tesoro
Maid of Honour
It was a regular day at Running Fox Equestrian when in walked this young, petite, shy girl, who was the new coop student. One week before Prom, Kayla told Ashtonne that she did not have a prom dress. So off on an adventure the girls set out to find the perfect dress. After a little road rage and a few tears, they found the perfect dress. They have been connected ever since. While their passions have gone from horses and competing to their careers and boss babe lifestyles, they continue to push each other to be the best they can. I am so incredibly proud of the woman Kayla has become and I am so honoured to be beside her as she walks down the isle.
Heather Hale
Bridesmaid
It was mid September when a whimsical messy haired Kayla charged over to a shy girl named Heather. A few invitations to hang out and a trip to Kayla's family cottage, these two horse girls were attached at the hip, literally galloping off into the sunset. From running horse courses by foot, countless sleepovers in a row, and a little bit too much to drink, these girls formed a true friendship, not one that lasts for just a season, but one for a very special reason.
Arianne Gillen
Bridesmaid
Kayla and Arianne’s shared passion of horses allowed them to meet behind the office doors of Greenhawk Equestrian Sport headquarters in 2017.
Kayla’s bigger than life personality brought Arianne’s shy side to the nightlife where they spent almost every weekend together. Though Arianne moved back to her hometown of Ottawa a year later, her and Kayla remained inseparable regardless of distance. The Daniel squared were a great addition to this dynamic duo.

Bridesmaid
Some time ago, our dear friend heather invited me to a get together with a girl she met at her barn. That girl was Kayla! When i first walked in nervous, new and scared to make new friends, Kayla made all those feelings disappear! Her kindness led us to so many conversations where we realized we had so much in common! Ever since, so many girls nights, sleepovers, keg dinners, flashing raves and fun times have brought us to 10 years together! We share so many memories and through thick and thin we continue to support eachother! Our friendship had flourished and grown and I cant wait for what our future holds!
Carley Jonni
Bridesmaid & Sister of the bride
I met Kayla the day I was born. I know, shocker. With eyes full of love and an oversized T-shirt reading “I’m a BIG sister” Kayla took on the job of not only being my sister but of being my best friend. Through thick and thin, ups and downs, she will always be the one I go to for advice, to cry, or to laugh. I couldn’t be happier for this new chapter in hers and Daniels lives and I’m proud to not only call Kayla my sister but to soon call Daniel my brother.

I first met Kayla when I was just a kid. She was my big sister’s best friend, but her and I always got along well. As we’ve all grown older, we’ve all grown closer. My sister became a best friend, and naturally, so did Kayla. Throughout the past few years, Kayla and I have learned we have so much in common, and I’ve had the opportunity to learn what a wonderful, loyal friend Kayla is. I am honoured that Kayla has asked me to stand with her on her special day, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for her, Daniel, and all of us!
