Covid-19 FAQ
With health and safety in mind, we have decided to hold a small, intimate ceremony with a reduced guest list. For those who are joining us in person, we ask that you read the following guidelines carefully before RSVPing.
As of May 8th, Rhode Island will no longer require guests who are fully vaccinated to show proof of a negative covid test in order to attend the wedding. We are still asking guests who have not been fully vaccinated (e.g. only 1 dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or less than 2 weeks from final dose) to be tested within 48 hours of the wedding. Guests will be asked to either show documentation of their negative test or proof of vaccination (vaccine card or photo of card) in order to enter. Rhode Island offers free, easily accessible testing with results within 1-2 days to anyone regardless of whether you are from Rhode Island or visiting from another state. Please feel free to sign up for a test using the link below, or to get a test in your home state before traveling. For assistance with scheduling a test in Rhode Island, please email Katie at ksullivan1356@gmail.com
Our ceremony and reception will be taking place mostly outdoors with plenty of space for social distancing. There will be several tables that are seated indoors with lots of open windows and french doors, but these will be reserved for those who are fully vaccinated. If you are fully vaccinated but are not comfortable sitting inside, please reach out by email and we will accommodate you outside. We kindly ask that you wear a mask when not seated at your table or enjoying a cocktail.
We are thrilled to share that 100% of the adult guests who are able to join us in person have received at least their first dose of the covid vaccine! This event would not be possible without these major strides. Rhode Island no longer requires guests who are fully vaccinated to show proof of a negative test, but those who are only partially vaccinated should still plan to get tested. Please bring either your vaccine card or have a photo of your card to show - the venue will be checking everyone in and asking either for proof of vaccination or a negative test. Please always feel free to reach out to Katie (ksullivan1356@gmail.com), your friendly neighborhood almost-Pediatrician, if you have any question or concerns about the vaccine.
While we wish we could celebrate with everyone in person, we would love for you to pop some champagne and join us virtually for our ceremony! Please join us on May 16th at 5pm Eastern at stopgolove.com/katie-danny/ for our livestream.
