Laura is Katie’s favorite (and only) sister and they ended up being spectacular friends. They are opposites in many ways, but also somehow incredibly similar. Laura is kind and loving and she can make Katie laugh uncontrollably. Laura is strong-willed and dedicated, currently following their father’s footsteps to become a pediatrician at Loyola University in Chicago. We could not be more excited that Laura agreed to be maid of honor!

The Katies have know each other since high school on the swim team. They always stayed active together, going on runs when they lived in the same town and completing their first half marathon together. Katie Herzog now lives in California and is working toward her PhD in Political Science. It means so much to us that Katie will be standing with us on our wedding day!
Annie Sorcic

Katie has known Annie since high school and they have stayed in touch all these years with long phone chats and weekend visits, sometimes traveling across the country to see each other. Annie is a nurse in Minneapolis and she is THE sweetest person. And of course people say that, but she really is. She sees the positive in everyone and every situation. We are so happy she’s going to be standing with us on our wedding day!
Olivia Crowell

Olivia and Katie lived next to each other freshman year in the dorms and then in the same college house on Bassett. Olivia can talk with anyone about anything and will be the first to suggest a competitive game with a big group. All these years after college, Katie and Olivia ended up living in the same neighborhood in Madison, just a half-mile apart. We are thrilled Olivia agreed to be in our wedding!

Katie and Chelsea met on their very first day of college as random roommates and ended up lived together for 4 years in college. Chelsea was so easy to live with because she is so easy-going. She is also incredibly loyal to her friends and super funny. Now, Chelsea is living in Austin TX working as a case manager in subsidized housing. Katie is so thankful that Chelsea was her random roommate and we are so happy she’ll be in our wedding!
Nisha Pai

Nisha and Katie met and college and lived in the old college house on Bassett together. Nisha is amazing because she is so confident and honest. Nisha was the reason we threw epic attic parties in college. She is great at making sure everyone is having a good time and providing the perfect music for the vibe of the room. We are so thrilled that Nisha will be traveling from Bangkok, Thailand to be in our wedding!

Celeste and Katie have been friends since college and lived together in our college house on Bassett. Celeste is always up for an adventure and she has the gift of fitting in and making friends wherever she goes. Celeste has lived all over the country, but currently is pursuing her MBA at Indiana University. We could not be more excited that Celeste will be in our wedding!
Joe Zimny
Bride’s brother
Joe is Katie’s favorite (and only) brother. They both attended UW-Madison together and Joe took Katie to her very first college party. When they were in school, they would go out to eat together every week, places like Chin’s and Applebee’s. Joe is kind, competitive, and super smart. Will and Joe can be found talking data science and sports when we are all together. We are so excited that Joe agreed to be in our wedding!
Jon Peck

Jon and Will have been close for most of Will’s life - even though Jon is eight years his junior. Jon also spent a lot of time playing tennis in high school and after, which was similar to the way Will spent his time at that age. We are looking forward to Jon being a part of our wedding day!

Will and Chris are only a year and a half apart, and have therefore spent a lot of time together. Both played tennis and music, and then went to college at UW-Madison. We are excited to have Chris as a part of our wedding!

Andy and Will have known each other since junior high school and stayed close throughout high school, college, and beyond. Over the years they have spent a lot of time watching and playing sports together. In addition to that there are too many other memories to count. Andy has been there for Will for many years. We are excited for that to continue with our wedding!

Mike and Will met in college at UW-Madison. They lived across the hall from one another freshman year in the dorms and later lived together for 3 years in college and beyond. Mike and Will share many of the same interests including drinking beer. Ask Mike about the brewery he is helping to start. We are very excited to have him be a part of our special day!
Kyle Schroekenthaler

Kyle and Will have know each other since high school. They stayed close through through college at UW-Madison even over great distances. Kyle has lived in China and Boston while Will spent some time in Seattle. The two have spent many a late night in deep theoretical discussions involving economics or simply playing games. We are very excited Kyle will be making the trip from the east coast for our wedding!

Josh and Will have known each other since high school and stayed close after. Their friendship started in Spanish class and the two have spent a lot of time together agonizing over/cheering for Wisconsin sports teams. We are very excited for Josh to be a part of our wedding!
Anthony Hennes
Katie and Will have both known Anthony for quite some time. Will and Anthony have been friends since Will moved to Stevens Point, WI in fourth grade, and Katie and Anthony were in Pharmacy school at UW-Madison together. Both Katie and Will are honored to be able to call Anthony a great friend and are very excited to have him officiate our wedding!
