Secret talent? Erin is a master chef and baker. Her specialty is homemade cinnamon rolls!
Secret talent? Emily can rap Eminem's entire Encore album by heart. Mockingbird is a fan favorite.
Secret talent? Courtney has mad Krav Maga skills. Don't mess with this one.
Secret talent? Anthony (AKA 'Bones') is physically incapable of missing a free meal.
Secret talent? Chasen can juggle! He and Rhett learned in high school bible class of all places.
Secret talent? Kyle is an animal whisperer - just ask him about the duck.
Secret talent? Austin is a competitive breakdancer and a classically trained ballroom dancer. He rarely shows his skills but promises to perform at the wedding.
Secret talent? Treating every day like the 'best day ever'!!
Where We Met
In their first semester of college at Pepperdine University, Katie and Rhett were in the same Macroeconomics class and sat next to each other after being introduced by mutual friends.
Katie was hobbling around in a surgical boot after breaking her toe the first week of classes, and Rhett was still sporting his spiked hair from high school. So although it was not love at first sight, they did become fast friends. After the first few months, Katie actually helped tutor Rhett in the class only to find out later he consistently got higher grades than her!
When Valentine's Day rolled around, Rhett took the leap and asked Katie out. She had already agreed to spend "Galentine's" Day with her girlfriends, so Rhett and Katie opted to go on their first date the following week. They went to dinner (Cafe Habana), saw a movie (The Monuments Men), and talked on the beach until Katie's spring break trip left the following morning.
The rest, as they say, is history <3
Falling in Love
The couple spent the first full year hanging out together in Malibu, visiting each other's hometowns in the summer, and embarking on their sophomore year abroad to Shanghai, China.
This was Rhett's first time out of the country and by the end of their year, they had visited six countries together. Their experiences abroad shaped their entire relationship and still hold some of their favorite memories to this day.

The Engagement
After graduating from Pepperdine University in 2017, Rhett and Katie moved in together in downtown Los Angeles. Rhett started his career in Public Accounting and Katie in Advertising - and next thing you know - three years had gone by in the blink of an eye.
Their first big step as a couple came when they entered an Instagram contest for a Goldendoodle puppy. And they won! Charlie became the third member of their family in October of 2019.
Two months later, Rhett joined the Warne's in Nashville to "celebrate New Years," or so Katie thought. He surprised Katie by proposing to her on the front porch of her Nashville home surrounded by both of their families.
