Things to Do

1. Take a self-guided neighborhood tour of Palm Springs by viewing the city's famous doors, many found in historic Old Las Palmas. Addresses are included in this guide but please be mindful of the residents when viewing or taking photos.

2. Get the best view of Palm Springs and the entire Chino Canyon on the Aerial Tramway - surprises also await when you reach the top at Mountain Station!

3. Stroll through the galleries at The Palm Springs Art Museum, showcasing local and international artists.

4. Check out the fantastic desert plants, fossils, and crystals at the Moorten Botanical Gardens, open Friday through Sunday.

5. When driving into town on the 10-East, be on the lookout for the Cabazon Dinosaurs right after the Morongo Casino and Desert Hills Premium Outlets.

6. When driving into town from the 10-West, you'll pass the famous Coachella Valley in Indio, home to the Coachella Festival as well as Stagecoach.

6. Driving in from the southeast? You're likely to pass the Salton Sea, one of the lowest spots below sea level in the world and one of the largest inland seas on earth.

7. Even further inland than the sea, you can find a unique, man-made landmark that influencers flock to during the many local festivals - Salvation Mountain

8. Last but most certainly not least, Joshua Tree National Park which is a short day trip to the North of Palm Springs. Not sure where to start in the 800,000 acres? Check out this blogger's guide to 'One Day in Joshua Tree'.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?

Palm Springs / Resort Formal is the attire for the wedding. We ask that women wear long dresses (gown or maxi) while men wear a suit or sport coat. Color and comfort are encouraged to embrace the venue's eclectic themes and lush lawns. Consider bringing additional layers for cooler nighttime temperatures.

What will the weather be like?

Palm Springs has a dry, desert climate. October is considered a great month to visit, as the morning and evening temperatures are usually in the low 60s while midday averages around 85 degrees.

When should I arrive?

The ceremony on October 2 will begin in the early evening before sunset. We recommend guests traveling from out of town arrive the day before. More information will be provided in the formal invitation.

Are kids invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes; if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is transportation provided?

All guests who are not staying at The Parker can valet their cars at the venue for a reduced rate on 10/2.

Please note, we will have an open bar and encourage guests who are staying off-property to drink responsibly by using the many rideshare services in the area (Uber, Lyft, etc.).
