Current travel restrictions require every traveller to be fully vaccinated.

Children ages 5-11 do not need to be vaccinated as long as they are travelling with a vaccinated adult.

You must download the “ArriveCAN” app to upload your proof of vaccination. (www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/arrivecan.html)

As of April 1, no Covid testing will be required to enter Canada.

Yes, a passport is required to cross into Canada from the USA/UK. Please note it does take standard 6-8 weeks for a new passport to be processed so plan accordingly!

Canada uses its own Canadian currency (CAD). Cash can be ordered through your local bank or AAA. The current exchange rate is around USD$1 = CAD$1.28

Most major credit cards are accepted in Canada. Note that your credit card company may card a small fee to process foreign currency.

Toronto Pearson (YYZ) is an international airport about 2 hours east of Listowel. It is the largest airport and will be the most flexible for flights coming from the US. 

Renting a car is the best option for travel from the airport to Listowel.

John C Monroe Hamilton airport (YHM) is a smaller international airport located 1 hour 30 mins (120km) east of Listowel.

US city destinations include Orlando, Tampa Bay, Orlando, and Las Vegas.

Cars can be rented from the airport to get to Listowel.

A flight into Buffalo might be a cheaper option. 

Buffalo is 2.5hr (150 miles) drive from Listowel. 

Peace Bridge is the main border crossing in Buffalo, NY. It is approx. 2 hours (220km) from Listowel.

Downtown Listowel is known for its small boutique stores. You'll find a variety of shops for ladies/mens wear, sporting goods, home decor, several shoe stores and baking. 

St. Jacobs is well known for it's farmers markets held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 7am - 3:30pm. 

Also in St. Jacobs is several small boutique shops in the village featuring home goods, decor, apparel etc. 

The Listowel Kinette Splash Pad, Listowel Kinsmen Pool and Listowel Memorial Park can all be found in one area.
