There is no shortage of accommodation in London.

We have been able to negotiate reduced rates at a few hotels which are close to Middle Temple. 

Hotels in the City are generally under occupied at the weekend and good rates will also be available on-line if you want to search for alternatives. Premier Inn Blackfriars does not offer group booking rates but does have advanced rooms at £108 on a Saturday night and is one of the closest hotels to Middle Temple. 

There are also self-catered options, more on this below.

Club Quarters have agreed to offer our guests a 20% discount off their best available rates at both their Lincoln's Inn Fields and St Paul's venues.  The discount is available for both Friday and Saturday night (in fact it's actually available for the whole year...).

Facing the grassy expanse of London’s largest public square, the Lincoln’s Inn Fields CQ is a ten minute walk from Middle Temple. The hotel does not serve breakfast but is a short walk from Kingsway and Covent Garden where there are lots of options. 

Discounted rooms start at £142.88 per night. Make sure you change the dates before searching for rooms as the system defaults to the 16th of July.

CQ St Paul's sits in the shadow of St Paul's cathedral and is just over a ten minute walk from Middle Temple.

Warning - you will be woken up by the cathedral bells.

Discounted rooms start at £132.92 per night.

The Crowne Plaza is located within easy walking distance of both Temple Church and Middle Temple.

It is adjacent to Blackfriars underground and railway station, with direct links to Gatwick Airport and Kings Cross Station. The Hotel boasts award winning Chinese and Italian restaurants, all-day lounge, cocktail bar with private booths and a fitness centre.

Discounted rooms are available from £178.70 per night for a standard double, discounted suites are also available. Discounted rates are not restricted to Saturday night.

The Leonardo Royal is a luxury 5-star hotel which is a 15 minute walk from Middle Temple. It offers modern and comfortable rooms, three on-site bars and restaurants, Ajala Spa, and fitness centre. The hotel is within close proximity to a number of local attractions including St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern, and Shakespeare’s Globe.


We have pre-reserved a number of superior rooms at this hotel at a discounted rate of £155 for single occupancy and £165 for double occupancy, both rates include breakfast. We have a limited number of rooms which are also reserved for the Friday night before the wedding.

If you would prefer a self-catered option there are lots of Air BnBs in London. Unfortunately those in the City tend to be priced similarly to, or more than, hotels, so you might want to try near-by areas that have easy transport links to the venue such as Kings Cross, Soho, Fitzrovia or Southwark.

Alternatively, if you want to stay closer to Karen and James's home, there are lots of options in Blackheath and West Greenwich.
