From New York to Maryland.
We were destined to meet each other. Although we were both from New York (Egypt Brooklyn and Kalen the Bronx) we had not bumped into each other until we moved to Maryland for school.
Bowie State University.
We met through a mutual friend. Kalen was looking for a math tutor and Egypt offered to help. It was the middle of the semester and little did Egypt know, Kalen already had an A in the class. Side note — Egypt was actually horrible in math. She was so horrible that her tutoring actually brought Kalen's grade down to a B letter grade.
New Years Eve
It was New Years Eve in the Bronx and Kalen was having a party. He invited Egypt and a few of her friends over to celebrate the night. With her plans falling through she decided to attend his party. Little did she know ... that was the night that Kalen would sweep her off her feet.
7 Years Later
Seven years later and Kalen and Egypt have built an amazing life together. Many memories have been created, assets have been gained, friendships both gained and lost, and they both are working in professional fields.
We are so excited that you chose to join us in celebrating one of the most special days of our lives. You too have become a part of our story, thanks for your help in making it a happy ending.
