In November 2017 we took our first family trip to NYC, which allowed us to become closer as a new family! We were staying in a cute apartment in the city and without knowing, accidentally turned the pilot light off on our gas stove. Long story short, had to prop our windows open with pizza boxes to let the gas out!
2018 was the first year that we spent Christmas together as a family. So we decided to do it in style- with onesies!
As a family, we've rented out a cabin at Lake Louisa State Park a couple of times. There we love to enjoy nature, put away our electronics for a little while, and have some s'mores!
In January 2019, Keith and Juliette went on their first international trip together. There they got to tour around the city in a vintage car, try authentic Cuban food, and experience Cuban culture first-hand.
While at our Lake Louisa cabin, celebrating Keith's birthday, we topped off his cake with a little marshmallow bunny (an inside joke between Keith and Juliette). We waited a little too long to sing happy birthday, and soon realized that marshmallows are pretty flammable...
Another place we've loved to visit as a family is the little psychic community of Cassadaga, Florida. There we've explored the strange fairy gardens, gotten our cards read, and talked to mediums.
May 28, 2019, a day after our two year anniversary, all the kids were involved in the surprise proposal on the beach with candle lights, ukulele playing, and singing our song. It was beautiful!
