For everyone that is joining us in Las Vegas we will all be getting on a bus and driving to the wedding destination, Sedona.
It’s a fairly big trip, 4.5hrs but don’t worry we will stop along the way to stretch the legs.
Plus We are also planning to stop at the Grand Canyon on our way so you can tick it off your bucket list.
Please let us know if you are coming on the bus!
Welcome to Sedona!
Thought we would take this chance to celebrate the fact that we are all in Sedona, Arizona together!
After the bus drops us in Sedona, everyone will have the chance to relax in the afternoon and get settled in their accomodation.
Then if you could make your way to The Lantern Light Inn for some welcome drinks and dinner.
We have made it all the way to Sedona, Arizona so may as well make the most of it!
We are planning to spend an hour being driven around in an open 4WD seeing everything that Sedona has to offer, those beautiful red rocks!!
Let us know if you’re keen and we will send you prices once we have an idea of numbers.
There will be a bus but just so you know where you are going:
Ceremony | Red Rock Crossing
Reception | Enchantment Resort
After Party | Our Place
Details on the bus and pick up location TBC.
Ceremony & Reception | Cocktail
After party | Casual
We want you to be comfortable cause it’s going to be a big day!
Put on your Sunday best for the wedding but then if you want to bring a change of clothes for the after party feel free (something that you can dance in)
As you know by now it’s an early wedding, so have breakfast in the morning and then there will be some canapés during cocktail hour at 12.30pm and then lunch will be served from 1.30pm.
Lunch will be an alternate serve meal - if you have dietaries please let us know when you RSVP.
Dinner we will have some light grazing at the afterparty and if needed we can order pizza
Address TBC......but everyone is welcome to come over to our place, sit by the pool (bring your swimmers and a towel) and chill.
We haven’t decided yet on what food there will be for this day, but rest assured there will be something for you to snack on.
Casual
Some of us might have sore heads the next day so we are just going to want to be comfortable
Time to check out #sadface
But what’s next you ask!?! Well we are travelling for the next couple of days and if you’re up for it, you are more than welcome to tag along - the more the merrier after all.
Everyone will have to book their own accom and transport but this will be a guide as to how, where and what we are doing so you have a starting point.
We have added RSVP’s to each day so we know who will be around and then potentially do a few things together.
First up we are making our way down to Phoenix. We will hire a car - seems like the cheapest option.
There is a bus from Sedona, but I think at this point we have had our share of bus trips.
You can get a plane but the trip is only short and doesn’t seem like it’s worth the effort of an airport.
Lastly you can also get a train but have to get it from flagstaff which is 50mins in the opposite direction.
It’s a little out of the way to Phoenix but to tick it off the list while we have the hire car we are thinking a trip to the Goldmine Ghost Town is a must. It’s only 45mins out of Phoenix and seems to be a bit of a must in Arizona
Goodbye Arizona hello Texas.
Today we plan to catch a short 2hr flight to San Antonio, Texas.
The flight is anywhere from $200-$300 or it’s a 13hr drive
See ya Austin, we are off to Houston today, but......... we’re doing a little detour and heading to Austin first to spend some of the day there and search for the best Texas BBQ
We’ll be hiring a car and making the 1.5 drive to Austin followed by the 3hr drive down to Houston.
