"What's meant to be will always find a way..." and for us it took 26 years. Jen and I first met in 1992. I had just graduated from law school and Jen happened to become roommates with my best friend and classmate from school. They lived in a 3-story beach house in Manhattan Beach, where I spent practically every weekend watching the sunsets from their deck, enjoying BBQ's and going bar hopping with the group. After Jen moved to another place a few years later, we lost touch. Twenty-Six years later, Jen was celebrating her birthday at a bar in Corona Del Mar with her girlfriends and I was on a date when we ran into each other. We briefly reminisced about the Manhattan Beach days and exchanged numbers. A couple of days later we met up in Laguna beach to catch up and we have been inseparable ever since.
