Johanna and Josh first met in college at Boston University in late 2012. Johanna first caught Josh’s eye on the BU tennis courts and Josh decided to strike conversation. Johanna liked the friendly American with a contagious laugh and started to spend more and more time with Josh. They quickly realized that they shared similar interests such as tennis and delicious food, especially the Island Creek Oysters served at a nearby restaurant.
Josh and Johanna have always loved the outdoors and being active. Some of their favorite memories are playing tennis tournaments together, exploring Finnish national parks, hiking in Hawaii and climbing to the top of the upper Yosemite falls where Josh proposed in June 2021.
In October 2018, Johanna and Josh adopted a new family member: rescue dog Roxy, a super mutt with DNA from over 10 different breeds (yes, they did a DNA test on her).
After nearly 10 years together, we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you on July 7, 2022!
