A classic Spanish list of songs that range from the 80s rock to flamenco - all of which you'll hear at the wedding.
Our best advice? Eat WHEN the Spanish eat (5 times a day)
Breakfast: 7-9a Coffee, cookie, very little
Breakfast #2: 11a-12p Coffee, OJ (fresh squeezed in most places), toast with tomato/extra virgen olive oil/salt, or tortilla
Lunch: 1:30-4:30p (but esp. 2-3pm) Best while out & about: the "menu del dia", many restaurants have a set menu for lunch that has a 1st dish, 2nd dish, drink, desert/coffee. You'll choose from 3-4 options for each dish & it usually costs anywhere from 9€-18€/person!
Tapas: 6:30-7:30pm-ish... Evening snack time! Small beers ("cañas") or wines / beverages of choice, with an individual tapa or a "ración" meant to share between 2-4people :)
Dinner: 9-10p This is usually lighter fare - definitely no lentils or paella for this meal. Summer dinners can be: gazpacho (or it's underrated cousin, salmorejo), boquerones en vinage (on toast or with potato chips!),
Copas: weekend nights or Sunday afternoons Basic cocktails - gin&tonic, rum&coke, etc. They are served at all restaurants, bars, even cafés. It is usuall while everyone sits & chats
Coffees: mainly in the morning & post meals. Espresso based, not drip. Espresso w/milk = café con leche. Espresso w/just a bit of milk = cortado. Espresso by itself= solo. Espresso long (w/extra hot water) = americano.
La Sobremesa: this is the time post-lunch or post-dinner where you... talk. and talk. and talk. Just relax & lean in.
