It all started with the Pink Panther softball team, but things quickly escalated to Jessie Mare and Mary Jess for life! From writing silly rap songs about boys and speaking our own made up language in high school, to the countless memories playing sports together, to pretending we were twins and laughing endlessly at our inside jokes…because we’ve always thought we were hilarious, even if no one else did, to matching tattoos in college, randomly texting each other at 11:57 (am OR pm), cheering each other on from afar through Jessie’s many adventurous moves, to always picking up exactly where we left off before…at all times, Jessie and I are each other’s biggest fans and have leaned on each other through life’s highs and lows. My very favorite thing about Jess is that she makes time for the people that she loves. She has always made me and my boys feel so important, and I know so many others feel the same way with her. I feel so privileged to stand by her side on her wedding day, and I couldn’t be more excited to watch this new chapter of life unfold for she and Joe! Cheers to the Kendall’s!

I met Whit in 2006 in the signing office to play basketball for BCC where we were also placed in student housing as roommates. We could not have been more opposite. She liked to get up two hours before class and I liked to roll out of bed when I should have left the house 10 minutes ago. Regardless, we instantly connected and had each others back from day one. The next two years consisted of watching A Cinderella Story or White Chicks every night (really it was just me, she was snoring in 5 minutes), tending to her yearly, two times a year minimum, sprained ankle, going boogie boarding on the golf course after or during a good rain, but also that one time we rode those boogie boards down the stairs that ended with my foot going through the wall. I still remember how cool I thought I was when I showed her my first tattoo, now look at us!. Whit was from a small town figuring out the world and I was on my own for first time ready to spread my rebel wings. We grew up together in many ways in those two years. Whit is truly a genuine friend. You can always count on her for anything no matter what time has passed. Forever my friend, forever my roomie!
Jessie and I met in Connecticut after college and it quickly felt like we had known each other for much longer. We spent our days together working at the ESPN KidsCenter, making midday lunch and coffee runs. In the evenings we were each others’ coaches, cheerleaders, & therapists at the gym, and we had weekly dinner dates to watch old Grey’s Anatomy episodes and catch up on the new season at the time. In no time we were roommates sharing dance parties, dating stories, going to hockey games and Black Bear Bar in Hartford, and getting Jessie used to driving in the snow or grabbing an extra layer for a night out. I have been so lucky to have Jessie as a true friend- no matter how much time passes we still pick up right back where we left off. She has helped me through all of life’s changes and I’m honored to be part of this next step for her.
I became friends with Jessie in the summer of 2008. I had just moved to Florida and started working at starbucks. I have met some of my favorite people from working at starbucks but Jessie is truly one of a kind, and I can honestly say my favorite thing to have come out of working there. (Other than my crippling addiction to coffee) Jessie is someone I will always look forward to visiting, spending time, and being friends with. She is one of the best humans I know. Kind, caring, loyal and trustworthy. I couldn’t imagine life without her and I thank starbucks every day for putting her in my life!
I met Jessie in high school but we reconnected a couple years ago when we both found ourselves in the fitness industry. I came to work for Lead fitness and a beautiful friendship was born. Jessie is one of the most supportive and loving humans I know & I couldn’t be more happy for her & Joe!
Jessie and I have known each other since elementary school and became fast friends at church! We spent the majority of our time together laughing, pulling pranks and just having so much fun! In school, I was a cheerleader and she played basketball—I love that I was able to cheer for her throughout our high school days and now into this new chapter of her life! I love you, Jessie and wish you so much happiness!
I first met Joe on Sunday, July 14th, 1991, 08:52, at PA Hospital in Philadelphia. After trying for 4 years we were finally blessed with a beautiful baby boy. I could not have asked for a better son growing up than Joe. Without question he is the smartest person I know (probably because of Elena, her brothers, and Joe’s Grandmom Rita). I’m sincerely honored that he asked his Old man to be his Best man. We share so many fond memories as a family, and we look forward to many more with the addition of Jessie to our family.
Joe and I met during move-in day freshman year of college. We had rooms 2 doors apart from one another and since that day we have been buds. Through the many late nights of "Studying", classes and labs we became close. Although we don't live in the same city anymore, the past 13 years we have been the best of friends and I look forward to many more.
I know the groom because I didn’t have a choice but to know the groom - he’s my big brother. One of my favorite memories is when I would come home from dance with candy and he would be in the basement playing video games and he would only let me watch if I gave him my candy - just kidding. There are too many good memories to choose from. I have always looked up to Joe - he is incredibly smart, determined, kind, and talented in multiple fields. I have been so proud watching my brother succeed and grow. His happiness means a lot to me and I can see that when he is with Jessie. I am very excited to celebrate my brother and his fiancé! By the way Joe… YOU ARE A TRUD. I love you!
I met Joe on a diving boat in Aruba. We were both on the same cruise to the Southern Caribbean. We happened to book the same dive excursion and both of us were solo divers, so naturally we buddied up and have been close friends ever since!
Honestly not much to tell. Sometime in the summer of 2022 Joe mentioned to Madison, a mutual friend of ours, that he was looking to take on a roommate. I had been bitching about one of my current roommates at the time so she put me in contact with Joe. We met up, grilled sausages (not a euphemism), chatted some and the rest is history. I moved in about 6 weeks later.
Joe and I have been friends since our middle school days at Gateway Regional High School. From sports, clubs, sleepovers, and hangouts together, Joe has always been my day one! He is the godfather of my daughter. My brother from another mother!
