But we get along, so it actually works out! It turns out that it is actually kind of hard to find a person who complements another's weirdness, so I guess we are pretty lucky!
And we realized we spent a lot of time with our family and friends before the pandemic. That is why we are extra excited that we can finally celebrate our wedding with all of y'all! this October
P.S.: Shout out to our unofficial/official life events photographer, Ricardo Munoz, for always taking great pictures that capture the moment - including this one!
It's easy to fall in love when things are good, but you know you found the one when things kind of suck, and your partner sticks with you, makes you smile and laugh despite the pain, and somehow helps make you a better person through the process. A lot of things have happened to and around us these past 5 years, but we can look back and see how we have both grown. The only constant in life is change, ironically. All we know is that life can be easier with a partner that you not only love, but also like.
Although we took this picture on our adventure in Hawaii on December 31, 2019, we have found that some of our wildest adventures happen spontaneously and randomly. From going to try out SF's Fogo de Chao with a bunch of friends on a whim -- to watching Christian yelling at cars in the middle of the streets of downtown Long Beach while hanging out with friends from SF, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Long Beach during a CADem convention, life can be wild. We are excited to experience the adventures that await us!
Hope to see you there! Can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
Sincerely,
Jessica &Christian

and we became instant friends, most likely because we consider something like reading through the City’s budget book as fun and intriguing!

our days at Berkeley when we were young and fiery. I've cooled down a bit, but she hasn't lost any of her fire - watch out Christian! :) She is one of my closest friends and one of the few people in the world I consider my family.

and I always felt that Jessica and I shared the goal of changing the world for the better. I have appreciated our journey to the stars, and I am glad that we have supported each other through the hard times and the good times.

As a San Francisco native who hates the term “San Francisco native”, I also attend the University of Washington. I got to know Jessica & Christian when they first moved up in 2018 as I was interning for (and eventually working alongside) her in the Sunset. As I’ve grown older, they’ve transformed from some of my biggest influences and into some of my closest friends.
