The Graduation

We Believe it Starts from Here

This is Stephanie’s graduation. We both might begin our journey from this day. Praise God.

The Poke Stop

There are so many stories to tell about our relationship.

Hehe.. Look at how blurry this picture is. Maybe we both were shy at that moment. This was one of our first dates. To tell you a little secret, Jeremy was going to ask her out that day.

The Lantern Festival

Four years allowed us to pack in a lot of events and activities.

One of the first outings we had as a couple was to the lantern festival to relive “Tangled”. This day included playing cards, figuring out Stephanie cannot do pushups, realizing Jeremy doesn't know how to give a piggy back ride, and almost getting hit by a flying ball of fire! All of which resulted in a wonderful day.

The Tahoe Tree Adventure

From adventures in the mountains

This was our 6th month anniversary in Lake Tahoe. We both love exploring and enjoying God’s creation. That day we visited an adventure park, had a scavenger hunt, and Jeremy thought we could successfully catch fish for dinner..... The pizza that night was delicious.

The foods

To eating at all sorts of restaurants.

This picture was taken in San Diego. We loved the restaurants down there. We even got to watch and be judges of a kitchen's improptu MasterChef challenge with the featured ingredient being the apple!

The Hills and Mountains

There were many hikes

The start of covid was the start of hiking season for us! A time where we could talk and tell stories as we were surrounded by God's great creation. It was also a time where we realized our bodies can't handle wind. Thank God for TolakAngin (an Indonesian herbal wind medicine).

The San Diego Zoo!

and camera rolls filled with funny poses.

This was taken at the San Diego zoo. Suffice it to say, there were a lot of weird animal pose pictures on our phones that day. Peep our gallery for a bonus silly animal pose pic!

The Proposal

but more importantly, there was Love.

Through the multitudes of silliness, fun, and failures, we chose to love each other. The theme for the engagement night was "Second Chances" but a more apt word is "Redemption" . We learned this love from our God. It was Jesus who paid the penalty for our sins while we were still sinners and through faith brought us into a relationship with Him. And it is because of this love and sacrifice we know that nothing can separate us from God, no matter how many times we slip up, no matter how many wrong decisions we make, we can keep walking and continue in our relationship with Him. On our wedding day we are going to make a commitment, a choice to love each other no matter how many time we slip up, no matter how many wrong turns or decisions we make. We know this will be tough, but as it says in the Bible "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Please continue to pray for us and our wedding!

The Aloha~

Oh and we went to Hawaii!

We praise God for his goodness. Through ups and downs we are reminded that God is the center of our lives. We are also thankful for our brothers and sisters who keep on praying for us. We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with you. Until then, Mahalo~

The Holy Matrimony

and the story is perfected with the two of us become one.

We said our vows and tied the knot on August 27, 2022 in California, US. It was indeed a beautiful outdoor wedding, accompanied by our beloved family and friends; all because of his grace alone. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you in Malang. Soli Deo Gloria.
