Elisa P. Franz
Matron of Honor
Elisa is Diana’s sister and the two are absolutely inseparable. They have been through so much together and nothing could ever keep the two apart. They have always played such huge roles in each other’s lives in ways that only sisters could. Elisa was there for Diana to be the older sister that took her places, bought her the cool clothes like those fuchsia madras, letting her practice driving in the Colorado mountains, asking her to be her daughter’s godmother, seeing her performances, holding Diana’s leg when she gave birth to Luca, and now getting to be Diana’s Matron of Honor. It has been Elisa’s privilege and honor to be Diana’s older sister and friend. Love always and best wishes to the happy couple.

Maid of Honor
I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous bride as an infant. She played a major part in my childhood, adolescence and she continues to influence me now as an adult. We have shared so many amazing memories together from recording home videos of our “shows” in Peppermill when she babysat me to our annual Christmas dances. From the summer of Reeses and Big Girls Don’t Cry to our amazing trips to Puerto Rico and Denton, I love being locas together! From a young age Diana was always someone I looked up to. She is the kind of person everyone enjoys being around because she is so fun and lights up the room. I know that when I’m with her its bound to be the best time fill with tons of laughter. Not only is she charismatic but so intelligent and dedicated to her education. Throughout my time in undergrad and graduate school, I knew that if I was stressed she would be someone who I could call and talk to. She always knew the right things to say to help me get through those tough times when I felt like school was overwhelming. I am so proud of her for never giving up on her dreams because she has really set an example for the whole family. I am so happy to be apart of her special day and grateful to be named her maid of honor. Jermey, we welcome you and the boys to the family and we know that you will fit right in. Thank you for treating my cousin like an absolute queen with so much love, trust and respect. I wish you guys a thousand lifetimes of love and happiness. Your beautiful family deserves it and much more.

Bridesmaid
Diana and Missy have known each other since 2nd grade, but their friendship really blossomed in middle school. In high school they could be found skipping musical rehearsal to drive around listening to Sublime (not crashing into dumpsters if you’re wondering) but definitely loitering at Universal Studios. Their shared sense of humor and slightly mischievous nature turned everything into an adventure. Even a simple trip to the community pool turned into a science lab (that poor little dead frog). Although life took these ladies on different paths, every time they got together it was like no time at all had passed, deep conversations and hilarity ensued. Theirs is a true testament of a forever friendship. Missy is so excited to stand by Diana’s side on her big day.
Elisa M. Franz
Bridesmaid
Elisa is Diana’s goddaughter and niece. She was also chosen by Jeremy and Diana to be Luca’s godmother. Elisa could easily be everyone’s favorite teenager! That’s why this amazing girl was chosen to be one of Diana’s bridesmaids. When Elisa and her aunt Diana are together it’s always a good time. They have many memories together including holiday cookie parties, going to the beach, and always greeting each other with “Dilly!...youuuuuu!” Yes, they have many inside jokes. And are making more every day, like when they went to a bridal show and Elisa quickly took her phone out upon a Gentlemen’s dance duo in cowboy and firemen outfits hitting the stage. She did comment that they had nothing on Jeremy however, known around the family for his infamous upside down wall twerk. Elisa is looking forward to being a special part of Diana and Jeremy’s big day.

Often in life, women are lucky if they get one good friend. I was lucky enough to get an amazing cousin.
I have known Diana my whole life, she was practically there when I was born. Not only is she my family but my friend, confidant, counselor (so she thinks) and so much more. We have shared many major events in my life wether they be good or bad and I am happy and excited to share this next one together as well.
Diana and I have gone on multilple adventures, a favorite was a secret mission at Kohls to get a great but illegal discount. Or when we were home alone with no cable and shouted “ANIMALS” with glee anytime a wildlife documentary came on.
I wish Diana and Jeremy the very best that life can offer and I can't wait to call him my cousin in-law too. And I can truly say that though Jeremy is a great catch, great man, great father, great secret keeper, and will be a great husband, he is truly the one winning the prize here. Even though he didn't ask me (rude) he truly has my blessing to marry my beautiful cousin. I love you both and welcome to the club!

German Issaac Álvarez
Best Man
Jeremy and I met in our Agriculture class in our junior year of high school at George Jenkins High. Our relationship has developed into a brother-ship. Jeremy is a true friend and confidant, it was our friendship that brought him and Diana together. Jeremy and I have similar interests in sports, politics, and working out, but our longest past time is definitely just kicking it and having a good time. Through the good and the bad, the happy and rough times, we never lost touch. Some of my favorite times were when Chris, Jeremy, and I would get together. Hilarity would always ensue. Jeremy is one of the best men I know and respect. I knew when he adopted Collin and treated him as his own son, that he was an admirable person. Always cares about his family and friends. Jeremy probably chose me as his best-man for the simply obvious reason that I am the shit bam whizzle. Even though Jeremy is scared to ride on the Dr. Suess' roller coaster, he is still one of the bravest men I know.

What can I say about my friend Jeremy, I can start by saying I'm so glad he's in my life. He is one of the strongest people I know. I remember the days we would skip school when we had senior-itis and one of the songs we’d listen to was Mike Jones’ “Where would we be 5 Years from Now”. Even though our predictions were a little off, I know that it would’ve been a dream of Jeremy’s to be right where he’s at now. Even back then I knew our friendship would last between him, myself and German as we always seemed to be on the same page and we were the type of friends that were happy just hanging out even if we were doing nothing but sitting by the dock in Wildwood cracking jokes about our day. Jeremy has also been one of the most responsible guys I know... In the years I've know him, he's taught me by actions to be humble, responsible and sees things to the end.
That's why I consider you one of my closest friends. Love you bro.

Jeremy is our oldest brother. We were each other’s first best friends as I am closest in age to Jeremy. Growing up we both played sports and were very competitive even into high school as we had the opportunity to play football together. We were always outdoor kids and have fond memories of many neighborhood baseball, football and basketball games. Him and I would often work together taking care of our younger brothers which undoubtedly is the reason we are tougher than nails today . As we got older we shotgunned a lot of beers and made a lot of good memories. He can’t shotgun as fast as me though. Jeremy is very smart and I'm very proud of the man he has become and the beautiful family he has created with Diana and I wish them all the best in their marriage.

Jeremy is one of the greatest men I know. Growing up and my whole life I’ve looked up to Jeremy with the majority of the time he had played a more significant role than just a brother. There were times Jeremy felt like a second father to me. I have memories I’ll never forget, from childhood to adulthood from the classic ding and dash with flaming bags of dog poo and some epic backyard football games. I’ve seen him take on responsibility time after time and never give up on anything. That being said, Jeremy is one of the strongest men I know, mentally, physically and emotionally. He’s been there for me my whole life no matter the reason. I’m very excited to see that he has found a love and bond like no other in Diana and I wish them the happiest and most successful life two people could have! Love y’all! -

I’m Jeremy’s youngest brother, James. Growing up, Jeremy taught me a lot of things...from multiplication tables as a 1st grader, to throwing a football straight, he even broke my nose once on accident playing baseball in the front yard (water under the bridge, lol). For me, Jeremy has always been an example of what hard work and dedication can turn into. Now, I’m relieved to see that he is being rewarded for all of his efforts as I know Jeremy believes that Diana and his family are his biggest accomplishments. I’m very excited to see Jeremy, Diana and my wonderful nephews live happily ever after together!
Collin Hughes
Groomsman
Jeremy remembers Collin asking him why they were changing rooms when Diana moved in with them. Jeremy told him that Diana was a lady and ladies liked to have their own bathroom. To which Collin responded, “you gotta keep your lady happy, right daddy?” And Jeremy said, “that’s right son.” Collin is our resident funny guy. His favorite memory with Diana is when she and him went to Family Fun Center and did the laser maze. He knew she was a worthy partner when he saw her determination to reach the finish line. His favorite food she makes is her famous dry rice. When asked about the marriage he says, “I think my dad and Diana are very good for each other.” He’s excited about being a groomsman and partying with the gents.
Dr. Stephen W. Padgett
Officiant
Diana and Stephen met in their high school drama group. They were trying to plan a student-directed play called “just kidding.” Even though the play never came to fruition, the friendship sure did.
They both went to Florida State University and had classic college shenanigans. Including dancing wildly at a club called “Brothers.” Since then they have grown a long distance friendship made up of texting each other “Golden Girls” and “Steel Magnolias” quotes.
Diana and Jeremy often say that their love was kismet and written in the stars. Since Stephen is a physicist and astronomy photographer, it seemed that he would be the perfect person for the job of marrying these two beautiful earthlings.

Isabella Franz
Flower Girl
Isabella is the bride’s niece and quite possibly Collin, Avery, and Luca’s favorite cousin. This little girl is so much fun but runs a tight ship. Once when all the boys went in her room she said “Everybody out now!” To which Collin responded “We’re going to be cousins one day you know?!?!” And Isabella said “Out!” She wasn’t taking any excuses (accurate as they may be). Isabella loves family game night and always picks Aunt Diana to be on her team (she wants to win...but she doesn’t play cutthroat). Isabella is so happy that Jeremy and Diana asked her to be their flower girl, she’s excited about the big day and about getting to hang with the gals (since her mom, sister, and aunt are all in the wedding). Girl power!
Kylor Strong
Flower Girl
Kylor is Diana’s Little Sister from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Texas. The two met back in 2014 and have shared many darling memories since. Including one time when Diana was pregnant and the two were looking for a parking spot in a very full lot, Kylor immediately pointed out that there was an “Expectant Moms” parking spot. Diana said that was for like very pregnant ladies (she was only a few weeks along at the time). To which Kylor promptly replied “EXPECTANT MOMS!!!” Because that’s how Kylor is, a hilarious and no nonsense girl who knows her stuff. When she first found out Jeremy had kids she eagerly asked “boys or girls??? Boys or Girls???” When the answer was boys, Kylor looked up to the heavens and said “oh boy” :/ LOL. During their Big Sister & Little Sister adventures the two have gone tulip picking, made dessert pizzas, seen a lot of movies, bowled some great games, and spent many a time laughing with (and at) Easter and Halloween. Kylor hopes to one day go to the Statue of Liberty and Six Flags in Arlington with Miss Diana. Diana always hoped that one day Kylor would be a flower girl at her wedding.
Luca German Hughes
Ring Bearer
Luca is the glorious manifestation of the bride and groom’s love. This beautiful little boy is the apple of their eye and was voted most likely to steal the show. He’s going to have a lot of fun being a ring bearer. But Luca is probably the most excited about dancing with everyone and eating cake. And you all are in for a real treat when this little gent shows up in his dapper suit. Luca wishes mommy and daddy all the love on their wedding day.
Avery Hughes
Ring Bearer
This little firecracker brings a lot of joy to the family. He is excited about being a ring bearer with Luca. Avery’s favorite memory with Diana and his dad is when they all got lost in a corn maze and then a thunderstorm hit. It was so fun. Avery is a big fan of Diana’s famous dry rice and daddy’s meatloaf. When asked what he’s most excited about on the wedding day he said, “becoming Diana’s stepson.” So precious.
Queen Halloween
Dog
Halloween is so happy for her beloved humans, Jeremy and Diana. Halloween knew Jeremy was a keeper the moment she spotted him. But the true test came when Halloween made her way onto his precious couch (originally a strictly “no pet zone”)...and she hasn’t gotten off there since. Halloween wishes everyone a wonderful party at the wedding, but she does hope you’ll bring her home a doggy bag.
Easter Beaster
Cat
Easter wishes he could be more excited about Jeremy and Diana’s love. But the truth is that sometimes Jeremy gets crazy ideas like that Easter isn’t the king of the jungle. He actually pushes Easter off the bed, off his chair, off the couch, off the counter, off the table. Easter really cannot believe the nerve of this guy. But if Diana is happy then sure, Easter is happy. He is most excited about everyone being out of the house for the wedding. Meow.
