This love story didn’t start off like a fairy tale. Instead, Ivan and Jennifer’s love story started in the most millennial fashion possible. Yes, we begin this story with a dating app on a warm summer night. It was 'like' at first swipe for the both of them. Before ever meeting each other, they laughed together with LOL’s and flirted with winking emojis. They seem to be hitting it off, at least virtually, so this eventually led to a first date. Fearing being stuck on a bad first date, Jennifer suggested a casual date eating ice cream sandwiches at CREAM. As was a sign of things to come, Ivan showed up on time and Jennifer was running late, but that didn’t ruin the night. They got some ice cream, walked around downtown, and as they say…the rest was history.
This is Jennifer and Ivan's first trip out of the country together. They drove up from Seattle and visited Vancouver. They had a blast and are always yearning to go back.
Fun fact: Jennifer doesn't know how to ride a bike, but she still tried to ride around Stanley Park with Ivan. Surprisingly they got pretty far!
This is Jennifer and Ivan in Hong Kong together. They were there for Ivan's cousins wedding. Needless to say Jennifer was nervous meeting the entire family, but everyone loved her. She had a great time and can now speak Cantonese better than Ivan. (totally kidding)
And now after 5 years, thousands more LOL’s and winking emojis, Ivan and Jennifer is ready to take their millennial relationship to the next level…Marriage! Technically they’re already married, but that’s just a minor detail.
