Ryan and Jazmine met the summer of 2015, purely by chance. They were both enjoying a night out in Washington, D.C. when Ryan noticed Jazmine. He approached her, and they spent the rest of their time dancing the night away while having great conversation. At the end of the night, Ryan asked for Jazmine's number, and they stayed in touch throughout the year. Early fall of 2016, Ryan asked Jazmine out on their first date; a concert to see Alessia Cara. They had a great time! Two months later, on November 1, 2016, Ryan officially asked Jazmine to be his girlfriend by gifting her red roses and singing "A Thousand Miles" while playing guitar at her doorstep. Jazmine said, "yes!" and then began their love story.
Ryan and Jazmine had six years filled with love and adventure! They love traveling, trying new cuisines and restaurants, and playing video games. Here are some of their favorite trips and moments over the years:

On November 14, 2021, Ryan planned a “photoshoot” with a “new photographer” looking to build their portfolio. Ryan and Jazmine began the afternoon with a small picnic featuring wine and charcuterie at the beautiful Bluemont Vineyard in Virginia. After enjoying time together, their photographer arrived. They took pictures throughout the vineyard, in the rows of vines, on the hill overlooking the property, and the firepit.
As the photoshoot was winding down, a manager of the property appeared and asked if they would like to visit their patio area. Of course, Jazmine said yes. As they began to walk up the cobblestone walkway to the patio, a romantic instrumental of ‘A Thousand Miles’ began to play. This is the same song Ryan sang to Jazmine when he asked her to be his girlfriend. When they rounded the corner, Jazmine saw a walkway filled with personalized signs, photos, and then their families, waiting at the top. Ryan escorted Jazmine up the remainder of the walkway, where she was greeted with an arch filled with flowers, a stand filled with various pictures of the couple, candles, the forever rose from Beauty and the Beast, and an opened book, with “Will You Marry Me?” inscribed in it.
As they reached the arch, Ryan professed his love, dropped down to one knee, and asked Jazmine to marry him. Filled with emotion and tears, Jazmine said, “Yes!”. After the proposal, they were greeted with love from both of their families. They enjoyed the rest of the evening at Bluemont with delicious food, wine, and lovely celebration. It was a beautiful day.
