James and Nicole met in Boulder, Colorado on April 20 at Avery Brewery.
Our many mutual hobbies led to a friendship that quickly turned into a relationship. James eventually left Denver for Fort Collins to be closer to Nicole. We decided a new puppy would be a great house warming gift to ourselves and adopted a very special dog, Waffle (#wafflethepit). After successful cohabitation and acquiring the worlds cutest dog, James decided to propose on Christmas in 2017.
Nicole and James moved to Sonoma County in July 2018 after Nicole finished her residency. Wedding 1.0 was initially planned in Sonoma but was quickly brought to a halt by Jameson.
Jameson has been such a gift and we are so grateful for him. He made his arrival on the 4th of July in 2019. We have now settled in Chicago as a family of 3 (+ Waffle) to be closer to family.
After a whirlwind year we went back to wedding planning. The McJunkin-Wyatt Wedding 2.0 was going to be even better than the initial version but has been postponed for 1 year. Does that make this wedding 3.0? We've lost track.
With an almost 4 year engagement, our vision for the wedding has been thoroughly refined and perfected like a fine wine. Celebrating with our closest friends and family will be a dream come true. And after this pandemic, we will all need a good party so bring your dancing shoes and smiling faces to help us celebrate!
