Room Reservation Details
We are working with Jess Miller from Vida Travel Co. to coordinate the rooms in destination and travel protection details for our group. If you have any questions that you would like answered before securing your room reservation, please email her at jessica@vidatravelco.com.
Jess has more information about the resort amenities and the available room categories with pricing included via our group reservation page linked HERE. We please ask you to submit your quote requests via this link.
Room reservations may be secured with a minimal $100 per person nonrefundable deposit. (Plus the cost of travel protection if added on to your reservation).
We would appreciate it if all guests would confirm their room reservations via Jess/Vida Travel Co. as she will be in direct contact with the resort and our on-site resort wedding team. Those who are reserved under our group details, will be the first to know of any schedule updates or activities that may occur during the wedding celebration. There can also be additional fees for us and guests attending the wedding who choose not to book with Vida Travel Co. This is another reason that we respectfully ask that all room reservations are made directly through our dedicated travel advisor, Jess Miller.
While Vida Travel Co. can offer competitive prices, they also offer personalized service. Anytime you have a question or concern, you will be able to contact them directly and will not have to go through a call center and speak with a different person each time.
Vida Travel Co. offers support available to our guests if there should be any flight delays or problems at the resort while traveling. Again, instead of reaching a call center, you will reach out to Jess who will do what she can to resolve any issues.
Most importantly, Vida Travel Co.'s strong relationship with the resort helps ensure that members of the Meister/Dontje Destination Wedding that are booked through Vida Travel Co. will not be walked and placed in another resort due to overbooking, nor will additional fees need to be paid in order to attend the wedding/events taking place, etc.
Should you have any additional questions, please contact our dedicated travel advisor, Jess Miller.
The Dominican Republic airport is a major international airport with many flights arriving and departing daily. This is the airport you want to book your flights too and from. The airport code is PUJ.
I recommend booking your flights as early as possible!
When booking flights you will want to make sure you have ample time with any layovers you might have. For outbound flights, I suggest at least an 1.5 - 2 hrs and 2-3 hrs for the connection time on your return flights. You need to be sure to allow for enough time to deplane, go through customs, and reach your connecting flight.
You may view more information about the Punta Cana International Airport HERE.
Travel insurance / Trip protection is always recommended when you are traveling outside of the United States.
Jess works with the insurance her suppliers partners with called Trip Mate. This insurance will need to be added on when you make your reservation. It cannot be added on later. There is an option to purchase a third party insurance, but it is strongly recommended to purchase the policy right away in order to insure all pre-existing conditions are covered by your policy.
You may have health insurance in the states, but when traveling outside of the United States, your insurance will not cover items that arise during travel. Often medical facilities outside of the US require that you approve payment for treatment prior to care/being administered.
All insurance purchased is non refundable.
All travelers will need to have a passport BOOK (a passport card is not sufficient) that does NOT expire within 6 months from your return from Punta Cana. Ex. You arrive on December 5th, 2025-Your passport needs to be vaild through June 5th, 2026.
Click HERE to review passport + visa requirements for your destination.
You are still able to secure your room reservation if you do not have a valid passport in hand at the time of booking. We will simply need your legal first and last name as well as your date of birth as they WILL appear on your passport. Once a valid copy of your passport is in hand, we ask that you send Jess a copy to confirm all information matches. It is recommended to set up an appointment to get your passports as soon as possible and do not wait until the last minute if you need to renew or apply.
