There are direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne to LAX. Those flying out of Brisbane you will stop in Sydney first. There are some flights with short lay overs in Sydney.
Sydney Flight time to LAX - Approx 14 hours
Melbourne Flight time to LAX - Approx 15 hours
LAX to San Jose Cabo (SJD) - Approx 2.5 hours
