Questions You May Have
What if I am a few minutes late?
Enter the venue quietly, but do not enter the chapel area during the ceremony. Find a location of comfort and enjoy the event!
Why is the ceremony unplugged?
In order for the photographer and videographer to capture this milestone in our lives, we need everyone to adhere to the unplugged request so that the recordings and photographs are flawless. There will be times in which you can share in the recording and photo sessions.
What if I have a noisy or overly active child?
Use your best judgement when it comes to your kid. Since the venue is on a lakefront, we ask that you monitor your child closely. We also ask that you keep your child quiet during the ceremony or move to a location that will not interfere with the wedding events, photos and recording. Restraining your child’s movements and noise levels will ensure that everyone can hear and that the event recordings are clear.
What should I wear?
The appropriate wear for the wedding is dressy causal and semi-formal, but not ball gown formal. Per wedding etiquettes, do not wear white or any shade that is close to white including but not limited to cream, ivory, etc as those colors are reserved for the bride and the wedding party. Do not wear jeans or tennis shoes of any sort. All aunts of the bride and groom are asked to wear navy blue. With the exception of the aforementioned items, you may wear anything you desire that is comfortable.
Are there any COVID-19 guidelines?
Yes. Anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of the wedding must not attend! If you have been in contact with anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19 within 3 days of the wedding or if you feel sick the day of the wedding in any way please do not attend! We are trusting that you will keep yourself and our families' safe.
