Please Log inWe wanted to get married high up in the mountains. We also wanted to get married with our family and closest friends. That's you! And we want you to feel comfortable accessing our ceremony site and not feel like you will get lost. SO, we compromised and selected a location that we're confident you will be able to find.
Located off HW 14, literally right off of a paved road, you should have no issue driving to/from in a sedan vehicle. Please find directions attached to the details of this event.
We will start promptly at 1, so please plan arriving around 15 minutes prior. Allow 45 minutes drive time (more if you are uncomfortable driving up the side of a mountain or feel the need to stop and take pictures along the way).
No toilets will be provided. Please use bathroom facilities before departing. Dayton will be the last available before starting your climb up the mountain.
There will be purple, orange, and grey balloons indicating where to turn off the highway. Parking will be immediately after you turn.
Parking is a little limited, so please car pool if possible.
We are happy to arrange/coordinate car pooling as best as we can. Just let us know what your needs and interests are.
There will be a few chairs available for folks who are flying in. For those that are able, please bring transportable chairs for seating. Otherwise, standing is the alternative.
We will mingle a little after the ceremony before making our way down the mountain to the reception.
We look forward to you joining us in our celebration!
Check back for more information.
We don't want the party to end! Let's take advantage of the three day weekend to continue the celebration where we prefer to spend our time: in the mountains.
Time tbd: most likely meeting in the afternoon, after everyone has had plenty of time to catch up on the zzzz and refuel the belly.
Camping supplies, food, and beverages will be on your own. A grill will be provided. There is a wonderful USFS-provided CXT toilet in close proximity.
Please let us know if you'd like to join us (we sure hope you will) but need to borrow some supplies.
Don't forget your fishing pole! ..... and license.
