Kathleen and Chris met online in October 2015. Chris had big plans for his first date with Kathleen. He planned a dinner (at 5:00 pm on a weekday) at a local Schaumburg restaurant, "Brazil Express." Naturally, Kathleen thought this was a fast food establishment, and questioned the early-bird reservation, but, nonetheless, Kathleen was very excited to meet Chris. If you know Kathleen, it won't surprise you that she got lost in her home town of Schaumburg and managed to arrive a half hour late to the date. Thankfully, Chris waited patiently.
They immediately hit it off and closed down the restaurant. Since that day, the two have been inseparable.
Over the next few years, Kathleen and Chris embarked on many adventures. From traveling the Caribbean to building an auto repair shop, they always have fun together.
In November 2018, Chris designed a beautiful engagement ring and waited for the right moment. During a cruise after Thanksgiving, Chris popped the big question. And Kathleen said YES!
