Ashley & Aaron

It was Thanksgiving of 2013 when a mutual friend introduced Ashley and Aaron at a casual group outing in Ashley's hometown of Durham, NC. Jamie had tried to arrange this meeting multiple times over the years. Geography and timing just never seemed to work out. When they finally met, to say they, "hit it off immediately" would be an understatement. The chemistry was incredible. They kept in contact over the holidays and then started spending almost every weekend together. They have been inseparable ever since! Whether they are traveling or just sitting at home with their fur-baby Hank, Ash & A-a-ron have had an incredible ride. Four years later and here we are! They couldn't be more excited and feel extremely blessed to have found one another. Cheers to the friends who know us well, taking chances and waiting on God's perfect timing!

Throughout their dating adventures, Ashley & Aaron have always gravitated towards a destination-styled wedding. While there's always the more obvious choices: a tropical island or a beach in Mexico, they still weren't quite sold. During a visit to Asheville, Aaron mentioned how cool it would be to have a fall wedding there and how beautifully fun the city and the mountains were that time of year. After four years of making multiple trips there for work and pleasure, Asheville really won them over. The rich culture, beautiful scenery, amazing breweries and delicious restaurants had really began to feel like home. Aaron popped the question on 11/21/17 and they began to search for dates in the fall of 2018. It became clear Asheville was the perfect fit. Asheville was, "the one." They are so excited to share this beautiful city and gorgeous scenery with all of their guests!

In April of 2016, Ashley & Aaron adopted this little guy from the local animal shelter. He'll be 3 years old this summer and he's an Australian Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. He pretty much runs the show. He can be found snuggling and being sweet, or stirring up trouble- no in between.
