Vagablonde Travel will help book your roundtrip transportation as a group and send you a personalized insurance quote right after you book. Quotes are based on age and total of your trip.

To avoid the single occupancy premium we suggest you bring a guest. Single occupancy incurs roughly a 50-100% premium increase for 1 adult in a room.

We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible for our bride and groom.
Additional fees will apply to visit the resort or come to wedding related events should you book off property.


The pre-negotiated rates include hotel accommodations, hotel tax and fees, housekeeping and bellman gratuities.
Room categories are available on a first come, first serve basis within the block. 

• IMPORTANT:

To book at these rates you are REQUIRED to stay a minimum of 3 nights.
• Rates are available 3 days pre/post the room block dates (based on availability)
• Any changes must be done in writing and changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed.
• Changes made within 21 days of travel will incur a $25 fee.
• Last minute bookings within 14 days of travel will incur a $150 fee.

Once you book your flights, send our office your itinerary. Email it to aubree@vagablondetravel.com using "FLIGHTS - HERR + SCHICK DESTINATION WEDDING" in the subject line.
Unless otherwise requested, our office will try to group wedding guests together to bring down the per person cost.
We offer competitive rates with roundtrip private vans and once we have a completed group manifest we will share per person rates! Transportation is not included in the room rate.

Transportation rates and options will be shared as the wedding date gets closer. This process starts around 2 months prior to departure.

Travel Protection

Vagablonde Travel offers optional travel protection with Travel Insured International.
Rates will vary per person depending on your age, state, total value of your trip, and if you elect for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit.
The average cost of your travel protection is about 6-10% of the total trip cost so it's a great investment!
You must add insurance within 21 days of booking if you want the Cancel For Any Reason Policy. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues or covered reason.
Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is non-refundable.
Our office will send you a quote after you've completed your room booking, made your deposit, and completed your client profile. 
If our office books your air, we will include this in your quote. If you are not ready to purchase air, no problem. If after purchasing your policy, you buy your air, reach out to us and we will make the adjustment on your policy or send you directions to do so. Any additions to the policy may require additional payments.
Many people choose to opt out of insurance, however, I highly recommend you reconsider this. If you have any type of accident that requires medical assistance while in country, you will want some sort of protection. If your flight is cancelled and you are delayed arriving at the resort by a day, the insurance will help in this cost. I highly encourage you to consider purchasing insurance.

Closest airport to the resort is CANCUN International Airport (CUN).
We recommend booking your flights as early as you can. You may book it via your favorite airline or allow us to do so for a small fee of $39.
Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like to book your flight + hotel as a package this can be arranged as well. In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and you will be contacted to verify airline and connection preferences for published rates.
However, there is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit or Frontier Airlines. We are also not able to use credit card points, vouchers, or miles towards your flight.

Payment Details

Deposit

A non-refundable* deposit of $200 per room is due to secure your room. If you aren't sure of your occupancy, it's fine. Placing the deposit secures the room and we have flexibility to add or remove travelers up until 45 days prior to travel.
When booking you room, you will have the option to pick
• deposit only
• pay in full
• apply an additional amount over the $200
To be clear, this will not change your first transaction amount. Everyone's first transaction will be $200.00 and based on your selection, we will either leave the $200 or apply subsequent amounts to your booking.

Refunds
Should you cancel with insurance before the final payment date, refunds will be awarded directly from Classic Vacations.
If you cancel after the final payment date, you are responsible to file a claim to receive your refund with the insurance company. We will provide documentation if needed.

• Cancellations made after deposit is paid that have not purchased insurance will incur a $200 per room penalty. 
• Cancellations made after May 14, 2022, that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 50% of the room total.
• Cancellations made after June 13, 2022, that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 100% of the room total.
• Cancelled air tickets are valid for one year from original ticket issue date

• After submitting your form, my team will send you an invoice showing your room category, dates, deposit and balance information within 72 hours (unless you submit your form on the weekend or holiday).

• 2 weeks prior to your second payment, my team will send you a reminder in case you need to update your file with a new card.

• As we get closer to travel my team will send you a reminder email requesting your flight information if we do not already have it. This information will be used to coordinate ground transportation as a group. We will work to group wedding guests together on arrival and departure to bring everyone’s ground transportation cost down.

• 2 weeks prior to travel you will receive an email with links to your final travel documents.

WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes! A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Mexico. A passport card will NOT work. Please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. I FOUND A CHEAPER PRICE ONLINE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?

We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of Vagablonde Travel please allow us an opportunity to price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated in the block at the resort for accountability and organization for the staff. To expedite the process, please take a dated screen shot of what you found. It must include the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on.

DO I NEED A COVID TEST?

At this time, no testing is required to enter Mexico. Currently, you will need one to return to the states. At this time, the test is currently offered on-site at the resort.

AM I REQUIRED TO BE VACCINATED?

No. At this time Mexico does not require proof of vaccination to enter.

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER COVID OR THE PANDEMIC?
No, but it does cover quarantine. For further questions regarding the insurance policies we suggest you call the company direct after you receive your quote. They are specialist and we just offer their product.
