Bayo and Harmony have been dating for over four years. Bayo (finally) proposed last year on a trip to Cartagena, Colombia, a city they had traveled to before and loved. With the help of Harmony's friend Carmen (who was also on the trip), Bayo arranged dinner at Alma Restaurant on their final night in South America. There was a band playing in the restaurant that Bayo had coordinated with prior to arrival. The band was set to play the Eagles "Hotel California," during dessert but they began playing at the beginning of the meal instead. Bayo quickly stopped the music and went about dinner. When it was time for dessert, a waiter brought Harmony a love letter on a silver tray, the song queued again and he got down on one knee in front of the entire restaurant (while Carmen secretly filmed in the back). Bayo had also hired a photographer to capture it all and these are some of the photos from that night. The ring is an emerald stone, from Colombia (the largest emerald producing country in the world), representing this special place and trip.
