Imagine this....
At Garba you see this handsome guy and you are starstruck even despite his lack of dance moves. You make a plan with your friends to get in a dandiya line with him and then he accidentally hits you with his dandiya. Even so, concussion and all, you know you have to get to know him.
And, this is how Hinu met Khagu.
At the 2017 Garba, Hinu saw Khagu for the first time and knew she wanted to get to know him more. Little did she know this could be the man of her dreams. Their relationship began as many might, but it blossomed over the years and was destined to bring them to this point.
With Khagu in Houston, and Hinu in College Station, they kept finding ways to spend more time with each other. With scary movies, dinner dates, and many elaborate surprises, they soon knew this was something special...something worth having for a lifetime.
On 6/30/2018, Khagu finally asked Hinanshi to be his girlfriend. As they sat watching their favorite show, The Office (S7 Ep.19), Khagu, in Khagu fashion, hands her a beverage and says " I have never met someone I am so comfortable with and can truly be myself with, I could do this for a lifetime"
Three years later, in what felt like a blink of an eye, on 6/30/2021, Khagu finally asked Hinu to marry him.
On 7/1/2021, Khagu started enjoying the tax benefits of marriage.
