Their love story began back in 2012 through mutual friends, Eric and Kristen Fox.
After hanging out together at a few parties, Hanam asked Carrie to go snowboarding for their first date. After hitting the slopes for the day, they got asked to go to a last minute birthday bash that evening in downtown Minneapolis. Since, they were bundled up in snowsuits they made a quick pit stop at Express where Hanam impressed Carrie with his sense of style. He picked out the white dress!
After spending the day together, Hanam was even more intrigued by Carrie’s desire for adventure, her outgoing quirky personality and enthusiasm for living a healthy lifestyle.
Carrie couldn’t resist laughing at his witty jokes while cooking together in the kitchen and hanging out. She was charmed by his desire for playing the guitar, trying salsa lessons and teaching her how to ride a skateboard. She was also impressed by his handyman skills around the house, at the duplex and with his firebird.
For the past 7 years, they’ve been discovering new places and things to explore. Here's a few of their favorite memories....
Just a few months ago, they were exploring Isla Catalina a tropical island in the Dominican Republic. A fun afternoon of boating to the Island, sipping on fresh coconuts and snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea.
When they got back from their expedition and were soaking up the sun on the Minitas Beach at Casa De Campo, Hanam finally popped the BIG question! Word has it that he was carrying around this little box the entire week trying to find the right moment.
She said, "YES" and they decided to go back one year later to tie the knot and to start one of their greatest adventures yet.
