Logan and Fred met during her freshman year / his junior year of college, in Fall of 2013 at a UF Model United Nations club meeting, three years before they would eventually start dating. Throughout their time in the club they travelled to many conferences together, dressed up as Clara and the Doctor from Doctor Who (one of their favorite shows) together, and each served as Secretary-General of one of UFMUN's conferences (FLCS, the college conference, for Fred, and GatorMUN, the high school conference, for Logan). They only competed against each other in the same committee once, where Fred won first and Logan won third (but she's a good sport about it).

Fred and Logan's friends joked for years that they should date, but the timing didn't work until Fall of 2016, when Fred finally decided to make his move. Working in Jacksonville at this time, he came down to UF for a football game and attempted to get Logan to come out to midtown with him to ask her out in person. She, famously, blew him off, saying that she was finally catching up on Netflix's hit show "Stranger Things" instead. After Logan bailed on him multiple times, he finally texted her asking if she would say yes if he "hypothetically" were to ask her out. She said she would "hypothetically" say yes, and Fred finally asked her out in person at UF's homecoming game on October 15, 2016. They went on their first date on October 16, their anniversary date.

After graduating in May of 2017, Logan moved to Jacksonville, FL for her first real world job, effectively ending the long distance portion of Logan and Fred's relationship. They lived separately in Jacksonville for a year before moving in together in June of 2018, and enjoyed plenty of long walks on Jacksonville beach, movies with their AMC Stubs A-list subscription, and meals at their favorite local restaurants together.

In May of 2018, after dating for a year and a half, Fred and Logan took their first big trip together - to Germany, for Logan to meet the rest of his family and learn more about his heritage. They travelled from Jacksonville to Munich and then took a train to Fred's hometown, Karlsruhe, about 3 hours away. There Logan met Fred's Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin, and explored Fred's favorite memories. They then travelled to Hamburg and Schwerin to meet Fred's grandparents. They explored, they ate plenty of German food cake, and ice cream, and most importantly, learned more about each other in the process!

In November of 2019, Logan and Fred embarked on their greatest adventure so far: moving out of their home state of Florida to beautiful Nashville, TN! Fred had previously visited for Sigma Nu Road Trips and loved his time there, but Logan had never visited, and was understandably hesitant. But after setting in they quickly fell in love with the nature, the music, and the food that Nashville had to offer, and have enjoyed their time here ever since.

As an avid dog lover, Logan had been begging Fred for years to get a puppy, to which he always claimed neither of them were home enough during the week for that to be reasonable. Enter COVID: A month into lockdown and bored out of their minds, Fred finally gave in to Logan, and a few weeks later they took home an adorable black Labrador retriever that they named Mabel. Fred likes to joke that they should list her on craigslist when she does traditional puppy things that he finds annoying, but Logan knows that he loves this rambunctious addition to their family.

After 5 years together, Logan got tired of her family and friends asking her when Fred was going to propose, so she asked him point blank. He explained that he had been hoping to ask her on a big trip, preferably somewhere with an epic backdrop like on Hawaii, but due to the pandemic, they hadn't been able to travel - Logan said "I'll book a trip there right now." And so they did. In November of 2021, Logan and Fred travelled to Maui, Hawaii for a 10-day vacation filled with hiking, swimming, and oh so much food. Halfway through the trip, Fred finally popped the question - to which Logan, of course, said yes.
