We're getting married on the beach about 3 hours outside of Sao Paulo in a small town called Toque Toque Pequeno
Flight to Sao Paulo
GRU is the closest international airport to the wedding, and typically the cheapest to fly into internationally. It’s about 3 hours from GRU to Toque Toque Pequeno, and 3.5 hours from the city of São Paulo.
Flight to Rio
If you want to see Rio, you could consider flying into Rio rather than São Paulo. There are fewer flights each day, and it’s about a 7 hour drive from Rio to Toque Toque Pequeno.
Getting to the venue
If you are staying in Toque Toque Pequeno, you do NOT need a car, everything is walkable, believe us!
However, if you’re planning to explore other areas nearby in the days before or after the wedding such as nearby Ilhabela (great for hiking, diving, and other adventures), you’ll want to rent a car.

We hope that most people will be able to find accommodations they like in Toque Toque Pequeno so we can really get that summer camp feel with everyone in the same town.
However, there are no formal “hotels” in Toque Toque Pequeno, only condos, rental houses, and pousadas. A pousada is like a cousy and more rustic hotel.

If you are looking for something more resort-like or in an area with more restaurants, grocery stores, etc., the nearby vacation town of Maresias is much larger. It doesn’t have the charm of Toque Toque, but the hotels may feel more like international-style hotels and all have pools right on the beach.
