For those of you coming from abroad, the nearest airport to Lake Como is Milan Malpensa (MXP), and the drive from the airport is around 45 minutes to the town of Cernobbio. 
Other airports in the area include:
- Milan Linate airport (LIN) – 1 hour
- Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) – 1.5 hours
The quickest and easiest way to get to Cernobbio from the airport and from one event to the other is by car/ taxi.

Transportation Wedding Day

Access to the Villa will be by boat departing from one of the following ports (approximate departure time is estimated at around 4.00-4.30pm, however we will come back to you to confirm all the details closer to date). Please indicate the port you want to depart from to Lavinia at giuliaefrancesco@sposiamovi.it:

o Como (Lungo Lario Trieste, 26, Como)
o Moltrasio (Via Regina, 22010 Moltrasio CO – in front of Grand Hotel Imperiale)
o Cernobbio (Piazza Risorgimento, 4 - Cernobbio)


If you prefer to make your way to the Villa by taxi/car, this is also possible – please kindly let us know.


· At the end of the party (around 2AM), there will be mini vans driving you back to the main hotels/ accommodations/ departure ports between Como-Cernobbio-Moltrasio. If you are interested, please let Lavinia know your preferred drop-off point.

(There is a limited number of taxi available during summer so if you decide for this option we highly encourage you book your taxi in advance).

Other information

An Italian tourist Visa is required for citizens of Non-EU countries. The Schengen visa is the standard visa that is valid for all the 26 countries in the Schengen Area, including Italy.

Travel Updates

The official guidelines for weddings in Italy have been released and we are pleased to confirm that guests holding a Green Pass will be allowed to participate to the event.

A Green Pass can be granted upon:
- first dose of vaccine received at least 15 days prior to the event,
- negative PCR or rapid test taken no more than 48hrs before the event,
- proof of having recovered from COVID-19, i.e. positive antibody test.
