Please Log inWe will be jumping on the Franschhoek Hop-on Hop-off Wine Tram a couple of days before the wedding and we'd love you all to join us! It's a great way to experience the wine region, tasting the best of South African wines!
There are two options, the Group Experience or the Individual Experience. Please only RSVP if you wish to do the group experience with us. We will make the booking on your behalf. If you plan to do an individual experience, we ask you to make the booking yourselves directly via winetram.co.za
Group Experience
- Bookings open to adults and kids (kids under 3 go free)
- Depart from the Franschhoek Terminal at 11:00am.
- Visit up to 3 renowned Franschhoek wine estates
- Lunch at an estate’s restaurants can be included (additional cost)
- Adult R270 / Child (3-17) R80 PLUS wine tasting fees at each estate
- We will book on your behalf and send through bank details following the RSVP
Individual Hop-on-Hop-off Experience
- Bookings open to adults and kids (kids under 3 go free)
- Lines depart between 9:30am & 1:30pm
- Visit a number of wine estates over the day
- Spend as much time as you like at each stop
- Plan and book your own tastings, activities and dining
- 10 different routes / 31 Wineries (see Map)
- Adult R280 / Child (3-17) R90 PLUS wine tasting fees at each estate
A social meeting, to braai meat over fire
A right of passage for all who have not experienced the joy of putting meat onto open flames.
Join us the evening before the wedding for some casual dinner and drinks... an opportunity for guests to either reconnect or meet one another for the first time.
We will keep the wood going until we are merry enough to put the food on and enjoy together x

On the day of the wedding, we will be organising activities for the kids (including our own!) to keep their little hands and minds occupied so you can all relax and have fun!
We will use a Nanny to supervise the kids, who will have age appropriate activities on hand.
We will be using Holiday Nannies during the formalities and in the evening.
Please RSVP if you'd like to have your child babysat as part of a group of children in the evening. They are also available for your own personal hire (please contact them directly and they will send you profiles for you to select a Nanny).

We have bulk-booked all accommodation on the Boschendal Wine Estate for the 22nd and 23rd of November. Rates are offered at a 20% discount for wedding guests and are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
There are a range of accommodation options available - you can see the different rooms here. Please advise your preferences and we'll be in touch directly with room options and bank details.
We ask you to be flexible as most cottages are 2 bedrooms (many with private bathrooms also). We will do our best to make the jigsaw puzzle of room orientations work as best as possible!
