Liane, the middle sister of the Malette Clan and self-proclaimed best-dressed. She is a lover of the outdoors and climbing, but most importantly loves to have everything planned and under control. Josée's right-hand woman for all things wedding, this day wouldn't be possible without all of her help. She is always available to answer any and all of your wedding questions - except maybe directions, as she has trouble with those, and is the first to say "we can walk there".
Denise, the youngest and wildest of the Malette Clan. She is full of personality - and if you ask Denis (bride's father) she may have multiple in one day. She loves to challenge people, and has an ongoing plank challenge with George - she hits the gym every day as she is determined to win. As MC, her challenges and witty humour are destined to make an appearance at the wedding. Hold on to your seats, as "bubbles" is sure to bring you on a wild ride.
Teaghan, Josée's best friend from med school and arch rival in dance during high school. When she is not busy doing autopsies, as a budding pathologist, she is keeping Josée and Sam in line. The scheduler of the trio, she is always prepared for everything. She even bought her bridesmaid dress 48hrs after Josée asked her to be part of the wedding party. Teaghan is sure to be keeping everyone on time the day of the wedding (including Kurt).
Sam, Josée's best friend from medical school, and wine-drinking partner. Her friendship is so strong she even has put aside her phobia of cats, to tolerate (and sometimes enjoy) the presence of Josée's cat Esme. Her and Josée can often be found rolling their eyes together at the bromance between their partners - George and Corey. Always ready for a good time, she will be the first out on the dance floor, because "[her] boots were made for walking".
Lindsay, Josée's best friend from undergrad, and partner in crime for pulling pranks on George and the remainder of the 7th Floor Betches crew. When Lindsay isn't busy pranking her roommates about her "eviction" from her dorm, she can probably be found searching for deals on furniture for her new condo. Josée and George are grateful for her expertise as they embark on their new life in Ottawa.
Taylor, Josée's best friend from high school, and the sole reason you have been invited to this wedding. Without her, Josée would have remained oblivious to George's charming advances. Her gentle (aka blunt) nudge to get Josée to stop studying for more than 2 seconds during undergrad has resulted in one of the greatest (we are biased) love stories of all time. Kicking butt in the ICU as an RN, she will be at the ready to help Kurt with his epipen.
Jon, the tallest and blondest of the Comuzzi boys, and self-proclaimed NFL enthusiast (Go Pack!), will be sure to keep the whole party entertained with his laugh, which you can hear a mile a way. If you require the most basic of Starbucks drinks, he can be sure to whip you up one. Also, If you require any legal needs during the reception or so forth, give him a dollar and hit him up.
"MJ", the youngest and arguably most ambitious of the Comuzzi boys - as future astronaut, pilot, hematologist, and the next Elon Musk - will be ensuring the mission of the day (getting Kurt to the wedding) is a success. If you want to have the most intellectual conversation you have ever had with a 15-year old, stop by to chat - you won't be disappointed.... except maybe in yourself.
Will, the role model and most-Zac Efron of the Comuzzi boys, taught them how to sneak treats from Gramma's house, eat all the food in the ice fishing shack, and make bear sounds in the bushes to scare people off the camp beach. As MC, Will is sure to keep you entertained with embarrassing stories of George growing up.
Corey, George's best friend and adopted member of the Comuzzi family, is originally from the suburbs of Toronto, but truly enjoys the Northern life - hauling materials to the island, shrink wrapping boats, and of course docks. Mr. Comuzzi thanks Sam and Josée for bringing Corey into his life, as docks are now so much easier.
Lukey, George's best friend, fellow St. Patrick High School graduate and 373er, can quote all the movie references there is and all the anatomy in your body. Lukey has known Josée as long as George has, so knows exactly what she has to deal with on a daily basis. Luke is usually up to no good and will probably be instigating some form of shenanigans - so make sure to keep your eye on him!
Kurt, George's best friend, wanna-be Northerner, and travel buddy is super good at surviving earthquakes and being allergic to things. Fun Fact - George and Kurt have been to 8 countries together and used a total of 4 epipens! Stop by and have a beer with Kurt (just make sure you talk in his left ear as he's deaf in the other).
From built-in dad volleyball coach, to being the best dance mom, Denis and Natalie have always been Josée's number one supporters. They are excited to have Josée marry George as he has become one of the Malette clan over the years. They couldn't be more overjoyed that Jo found someone who enjoys playing cards and fishing as much as they do.
George's biological parents and biggest supporters aside from Josée. George is obviously the most favourite son, as he is the first-born and the most handsome and intelligent. Jokes aside, George wouldn't be here today without the unwavering love and support from his parents as he journeyed through the trials and tribulations of life. Suzanne and Michael are overjoyed to welcome Josée "officially" into the family, as she has already been a huge part of their lives for the last 8 years...especially Suzanne as she now has another girl around.
