Event Theme

A Wonderfully Wizardly Wedding Shower

Well of course we wouldn’t expect anything less than a Harry Potter bridal shower out of Gabby! Join us for an afternoon of sipping, snacking, and spell making ;) right in the Record’s backyard! Please feel free to bring a swimsuit for some pool time after the celebrations! We will have a tent in the event of rain.

Upon arrival, you will be sorted into your Hogwarts House by our special guest, The Bridal Sorting Hat! Each house will be represented by delicious and locally sourced Treehouse IPA’s; Julius for Gryffindor, Eureka for Hufflepuff, Green for Slytherin, and Haze for Ravenclaw!! Spirit free guests will be sorted by similar mocktail alternatives :)

From Bradley International Airport: 1 hr. to venue

Accommodations

Rooms are available on site at the Publick House (see website for bookings). There are also multiple hotels within 1-3 miles of the venue (Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn and Suites, Hampton Inn).

RECEPTION TALENT SHOW

At the start of our reception, we’d like any willing participants to show off their coolest, wackiest talents in our Wedding Talent Show!! You must be able to perform your act in 30 seconds or less. The winner, decided by the newlyweds, will receive a secret surprise ;)
