Booking Instructions

To be considered part of Joshua and Jeanette's Wedding Group, you must book through the secure form below and not directly through the hotel or any other site. This will allow you to reserve your room and take advantage of the best available rates at time of booking, payable when you arrive vs. other options which include deposits and advance payments.

How to Get Information for the Form

You will need to visit the resort’s website to pretend to book, but this will be information only that you will need to gather for the secure form.

* Visit Paradisus Punta Cana's website

* Select your Dates

* Select the Room Category you want

* Choose the ‘Unrestricted Rate’ {allows for changes & cancellations}

* Write down the total price {Make sure its the price located on step 3 of the booking process which includes the sales tax}

* Submit/fill out this secure form on the same day as you complete the above actions to secure the price and receive all wedding accommodations.

Once the secure form is submitted, your room will be reserved for Joshua & Jeanette's wedding group! {You will receive a confirmation email with your booking information within 12 hours of submitting the form}

We are staying at the resort from 9/22 to 9/26. You are welcome to join us whenever you like. We recommend booking ASAP for the best rate.

If you have any questions about accommodations or booking, please reach out to Jeanette at 949-514-1176.

Flights

Fly into the Punta Cana airport {PUJ}. The resort is a 20-30 minute drive from the airport.

If you are coming from the West Coast, your flight will most likely have a layover. We recommend taking a redeye flight so you can arrive early afternoon the next day. {We are taking a redeye Wednesday 9/21 to arrive on Thursday 9/22}

Transportation {Arrange with Airport}

Shared Transportation

You can arrange a roundtrip transfer {in a shared van} for approximately approximately $52 for 2 people.

You can also check on Expedia for better rates as the date gets close: www.expedia.com/things-to-do/shared-shuttle-punta-cana-airport-puj.a197385.activity-details

Bring a Thermos / Hydro Flask

Be an all-inclusive resort pro! It is a really good idea to bring a nice thermos with you. The bars will clean and pour drinks into your thermos and it will stay nice an cool as you soak up the sun. Beach/poolside bars typically give you small plastic cups that do not hold much and tend to blow over in the wind.

Things to Know

A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and the D.R. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. Check this site for more passport info: travel.state.gov/content/passports/english.html

You do not need an adapter for your electrics, the outlets in the D.R. will accept U.S. plugs

There is a $10 tourist visa fee that must be paid in cash when you arrive to the Punta Cana airport. You can purchase it online here: www.dgii.gov.do/Tturistaweb/home

Make sure to bring plenty of SPF; the gentle breeze coming off the ocean can make it easy for some to be unaware of how hot the sun really is.

Nightlife

If you're looking to go out for a good time, Punta Cana has a CoCo Bongo: bit.ly/1Q6X4dQ
