Let's fly to Mexico
Major international airlines as well as charter airlines have direct or connecting flights to Cancun every day. Now more than ever Cancun Airport International is easily accessible from almost every major city in the world. With first class shops, restaurants and services, Cancun Airport is one of the easiest most convenient airports to fly to/from in Mexico.
Mexico’s Riviera Maya is the country’s premier, tourist hot-spot. It’s a long stretch of spectacular coastline that runs for 75 miles along the Yucatan Peninsula, taking in beautiful beaches and incredible scenery.
There’s nightlife, bars, restaurants, cafes, and shopping to indulge in at the many resort towns along the length of the Riviera Maya and it’s the best place in Mexico to have a truly spectacular holiday in the sun.
1. Playa del Carmen.
Is the real hub of the Riviera Maya. It’s the largest city on the Riviera, and is famous for its exceptional culinary scene and happening nightlife. You can go to the 5th Avenue and find a handful of restaurant, bars and also go shopping.
2. Tulum.
The old beach-and-jungle town has evolved into a chic destination for those seeking barefoot luxury. Led by trendy restaurants like Eric Werner’s Hartwood, Tulum has reached global status.
3. Cenote.
What is a cenote and why do travelers love them so much? A cenote is a natural sinkhole developed over millions of years, the result of limestone rock collapses which uncover a body of water. Today, they serve as hidden subterranean swimming pools that make for a magical feeling of being lost in another world
4. Sian Ka’an
Near Tulum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a protected jungle reserve that, at 1.3 million acres, is roughly twice the size of Rhode Island. The original Mayan inhabitants gave it the name Sian Ka’an, meaning “Origin of the Sky.” Its tropical forests are home to jaguars, pumas, and spider monkeys. There are many different ways to see the park, but one of our favorites is the Ancient Mayan Route, a scenic boat tour that follows the ancient Sian Ka’an trade route waterway
5. Xcaret Park
Playa del Carmen’s eco-theme park is one of the most popular things to do in Riviera Maya for families. The kids will love attractions like the Butterfly Pavilion, home to roughly 20 different species, and the Aviary, where they can interact with colorful toucans and pink flamingos
If you're interested on any activity please feel free to reach out to Alejandra Orozco at your Cancun DMC, they are the ones helping us with the airport transportation and offer tours and excursions as well.
Mayakoba's Golf Classic PGA Tour is happening from November 11th - 17th. So if you're a golf lover this is something you don't want to miss.
