We have blocked rooms at Outrigger Reef Waikiki for our wedding group and hope you will all stay with us and use our travel agent, Vagablonde Travel.

Deposit
A non-refundable* deposit of $200 per room is due to secure your room. Placing the deposit secures the room and we have flexibility to add or remove travelers and adjust your dates up until 45 days prior to travel.

Refunds
Should you cancel with insurance before the final payment date, refunds will be awarded directly. After Final payment, you will need to submit a claim for insurance.

If you cancel after the final payment date, you are responsible to file a claim to receive your refund with the insurance company. We will provide documentation if needed.

Room rates are quoted in US dollars, per night, inclusive of discounted daily resort fee and all taxes and fees.

Discounted Daily Resort Charge at $28.00 (typically $35 a night) + applicable taxes per room per day. Cost built into rates and will be pre paid with room booking in advance.

Room rates includes nightly taxes of 14.962% per room per night.

Third person charge is an additional $85 per night plus taxes, fourth person charge is an additional $85 per night plus taxes (max number 4 pax per room).

Children 17 and under may stay for free in their parent’s room using existing bedding.

Breakfast vouchers can be added at an additional $22.00* inclusive of gratuities and taxes per person per day. *Subject to change for 2022.

Vagablonde Travel offers optional travel protection with Travel Insured International.

Rates will vary per person depending on your age, state, total value of your trip, and if you elect for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit.

The average cost of your travel protection is about 6-10% of the total trip cost so it's a great investment!

You must add insurance within 21 days of booking if you want the Cancel For Any Reason Policy. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues or covered reason. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is non refundable.

Our office will automatically send you a quote after you book with your room total and an estimated ground transfer if you select this option. If our office books your air, we will include this in your quote. If you are not ready to purchase air, no problem. If after purchasing your policy, you buy your air, reach out to us and we will make the adjustment on your policy or send you directions to do so. Any additions to the policy may require additional payments.

We recommend booking your flights as early as you can.

Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like to book your flight + hotel as a package this can be arranged as well.

In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and you will be contacted to verify airline and connection preferences for published rates.

However, there is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit Airlines. We are also not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight.

• Cancellations made after deposit is paid that have not purchased insurance will incur a $200 per room penalty.

• Cancellations made after March 3, 2022 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 25% of the room total.

• Cancellations made after April 2, 2022 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 50% of the room total.

• Cancellations made after May 2, 2022 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 90% of the room total.

• Cancelled air tickets are valid for one year from original ticket issue date.

• Once your booking is received, Vagablonde Travel will send you a client profile to complete your passport information, travel preferences, and insurance choice.

• Once your booking is processed internally, Vagablonde Travel will send you a receipt showing your room category, dates, remaining balance, and how to make additional payments.

• 2 weeks prior to your second payment, Vagablonde Travel will send you a reminder in case you need to update your file with a new card.

• 2 weeks prior to your final payment, Vagablonde Travel will send you a reminder in case you need to update your file with a new card.

• 4-5 weeks prior to travel, Vagablonde Travel will send you a reminder email requesting your flight information if we do not already have it. This information will be used to coordinate ground transportation as a group. We will work to group wedding guests together on arrival and departure to bring everyone’s ground transportation cost down.

• 4 weeks prior to travel you will receive an email with how to download the App for your final travel documents.

• 2 weeks prior to travel you will received your travel documents in the App.

Pre-Travel Testing: this program enables travelers to avoid a mandatory 14-day quarantine if they are tested no earlier than 72-hours before their flight arrives with an FDA-authorized nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) from the state of Hawaii’s Trusted Testing and Travel Partners list and show proof of a negative test result upon arrival. No testing will be provided upon arrival at the airport.

We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of Vagablonde Travel please allow us an opportunity to price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated in the block at the resort for accountability and organization for the staff. To expedite the process, please take a dated screen shot of what you found. It must include the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on.

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER COVID OR THE PANDEMIC?
For further questions regarding the insurance policies we suggest you call the company direct after you receive your quote. They are specialist and we just offer their product. They have a cancel for any reason policy and over 25 covered reason should you need to cancel.
