Our Response to COVID-19
To our wonderful friends and family,
We hope this note finds you safe and healthy. Adair and I have been thinking about each of you during this challenging time and sending love, health, and well wishes to you all. As the course of the pandemic progresses, Adair and I are closely monitoring the guidance of federal and local authorities in the US and MX as it relates to traveling and hosting our wedding. We want to keep you all well informed! Since it’s highly possible that COVID-19 will still be present in December, we have reexamined our event, have made changes, and currently planning important precautions to keep everyone safe. Some changes and planned precautions include guest-list reduction, outdoor venue for ceremony, properly vented palapa area for dinner time, and outdoor areas for reception activities. Physical distancing, face coverings, handwashing, and sanitization stations and protocols will be actively practiced by guests and staff.
Unless circumstances take a turn, we will continue to move forward with our planned wedding and will actively update our guests through email and our wedding website. The health and safety of you, our guests, is a top priority. We understand that for some, attending our wedding may not be advisable or safe. We love you and want you to make the best decision for you and your family. If you are not able to attend due to the present circumstances, we just ask that you let us know as soon as possible. Please reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns. We understand that these are trying times for everyone and we are hopeful that we will be able to end this crazy year by celebrating with all of our favorite people. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new reality.
Love,
Jacqui & Adair

Nuestra respuesta a COVID-19
Querida Familia y amigos,
Sinceramente,
Jacqui y Adair

What is Tulum known for?
Tulum is the perfect place for those looking for a laid-back tropical setting in relaxing surroundings. Relatively small and intimate, Tulum has beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise waters, cenotes, and more attractions. Thanks to the lovely coral reef just off the coast Tulum is a great place for snorkeling and scuba diving, and the beaches are safe for swimming! Overall, Tulum is a beach town that inspires creativity and well-being. Its laid-back vibes captured mine and Adair's heart immediately. It will continue to be an escape ritual in our lives. We would love nothing more than to have our closest friends and family join us to celebrate our marriage and experience this wonderful city and culture.
Cancún International Airport (CUN)
We recommend flying into Cancun. Tulum is approximately a 1.5 - 2 hr drive south of Cancun airport. The drive to Tulum is on a well-paved, four-lane highway and you have several options for making your way down.
1. Rent a Car: *We personally choose to rent a car because it is inexpensive and convenient. Consider carpooling with friends! You won't need the car much once you've gotten to Tulum but it is great to have if you plan on a long stay and choose to explore ruins or cenotes.
2. Reserve Transportation Directly with your Hotel. If you choose to stay at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa (our booked out hotel), we will provide information on arranging airport transportation via Dreams Tulum.
3. Rent a Taxi from the Airport
NOTE: Akiin, our wedding venue does not have a parking lot. Therefore our guests will have to arrive by taxi or if you will be staying at Dreams Tulum we will have roundtrip transportation available. Dreams Tulum does not allow visitors at any time, in order to use the roundtrip transportation on the day of our wedding, you must have booked and be staying at Dreams Tulum. If you have any questions please contact us.
