Dress Code - Dressy Casual

The Welcome Party will be held outdoors on the pool deck of the Casa Monica Resort & Spa. Women are welcome to wear a maxi/sundress or nice blouse with a skirt or slacks combo, accompanied by wedges or dressy sandals.  Gentlemen can wear dress pants or khaki pants with a collared shirt/button-down. Steer clear of any t-shirts or tennis shoes if possible. Also, keep an eye out for the weather and bring a sports jacket or sweater in case it's chilly.

Parking Info

Valet parking will be complementary and available at the Casa Monica for those that wish to drive. Just let the valet know you are attending the Paul-Brockhaus Kann Welcome Party. 


Upon dropping off your vehicle, the stairs to the pool deck are straight ahead.

Children?

Although we want our Wedding weekend to be an opportunity for you to explore the city of St. Augustine with your families, the Welcome Party will be an adult only celebration.

Enjoy the refined modern coastal & American cuisine at Casa Monica's restaurant Costa Brava. Food will be via self-service and will include the following:

Meat: Crab Crusted Grouper & a Prime Rib Carving Station with Horseradish and Au Jus

Soup: Lobster & Crab Bisque

Salad: Chopped Salad & Arugula Salad 

Sides: Garlic & Herb Roasted Potatoes and Green Beans with Toast Almond/Olive Oil

Pasta: Lobster Pappardelle

Dessert: Chocolate Toffee Mouse Cake & Salted Caramel Cheesecake

Drink up and enjoy the open bar that will be offering the following:

DRESS CODE - BLACK TIE OPTIONAL

Black Tie Optional encourages all guests to wear attire that fits a black tie dress code, but this is optional. Gentlemen are welcome to wear a Tuxedo or Dark Suit of their choice with a button down shirt and tie or bowtie. Women shall wear mid to full length gowns, cocktail dresses, pantsuits or dressy separates.

Parking Info

There will be no parking available the day of the Wedding at the Treasury. It is highly recommended to utilize Uber or Lyft for the short commute from you place of stay. If anyone is interested in driving they are available to valet their vehicle across the park at the Casa Monica for a minimal fee of $25.

Liquors: Tito's, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray, Sauza Hornitos, Crown Royal, Maker's Mark & Glenlivet 12 yr

Catered by the Purple Olive. Hors d'oeuvres will be passed around during the Cocktail Hour. Once seated for the Reception, bread and butter will be available and a Salad and 1 Entree of your choice will be served table-side.

Butler Passed Hors d'oeuvres: 

Crab and Avocado Tostados, Beef Empanadas, Tomato Basil Tarts, Blackened Ahi Tuna on a Crispy Wontons with a Sweet Chili Hot Mustard, Buttermilk Chicken Bites with Maple Tabasco Glaze & Coconut Fried Shrimp with Chili Glaze .

Salad (served table-side):

Chopped salad with Artisanal Mixed Greens, Hearts of Palm, Chickpeas, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Red Bell Peppers tossed with Sherry Vinagrette.

Entrees (served table-side):

Beef: Grilled Beef Filet Mignon with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce over Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Roasted Asparagus. Extra Brandy Peppercorn served table-side.

Fish: Pan Seared Mahi with a Ground Macadamia Crust and Panko Breadcrumbs with Jasmine Rice and Roasted Asparagus.

Chicken: Spinach and Boursin Stuffed Chicken finished with Herbed Sauce served with Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Roasted Asparagus.

Vegan: Sesame Seared Tofu with Ginger Soy Glaze served with Jasmine Rice and Wok Seared Vegetables.
