Haley Royer

Younger sister to Hilary and Mother to Bruce the Shepard mix. Haley loves Chick- Fil-A, dogs, rosé, frosé, Nutella, makeup videos , and fashion. She always looks perfect and can transform any event into a dream! Hilary loves Haley to do her makeup and Haley begrudgingly agrees occasionally. She is Zappa and Allman's godmother. She knows that Zappa is better than Bruce but is in denial. Haley is a world traveler and now lives in Charleston living her best life as the best dog mom in the world.
Taylor Grimshaw

Fellow Slytherin Wizards. Truly only the elite can claim this honor. Tay is Hilary’s surrogate big sis from Wofford ZTA. Tay’s little and Hilary’s big transferred at the same time leaving a whole in Tays family and making Hilary an orphan. Tay adopted Hilary and they became instant besties. Tay loves kitty cats and is mother to Princess Ella, Floofman, and Elfie. Hilary and Tay love to eat chicken wings and Philly cheese steaks and always enjoy a good glass of red wine. Tay loves to travel and is learning to love farm life with her new chickens!
Laura Richie

Oh gawd. Laura. Laura and Hilary were freshman Wofford roommates and then roommates again junior year. Laura is a professional dumpster diver and finds really cool stuff for Hilary like unopened “damaged” Grey Goose bottles. They both enjoy fatalistic humor, eating yummy food, and laying around doing nothing together. Laura has had the privilege of being apart of several Royer family fights on vacation and has been with Hilary through the worst and best times of her life. Hilary prides herself on bringing Laura out of her shell in college by making sure everyone knew Laura was in fact actually a Mennonite.
Jess Giovani

Jess and Hilary were friends at Wofford but didn't really hit it off until Hilary and Erick moved to St Pete, FL. Jess is an amazing host, organization guru, best air fryer of chicken wings, and is a gamer queen! Jess is allergic to dogs but would still walk Zappa, let Zappa come over and play in their yard, and helped pack the entire apartment. Seriously, what an amazing person. She's awesome and is willing to take extra allergy medication to hang out with us. She's the real MVP!
Eric Connor
Best Man
Eric and Erick grew up together and were in Ms. Johnson's 2nd grade class together. They lived in the same neighborhood growing up and have been best friends ever since. Eric is a beer brewer king in NC at Gizmo Brewery and knows everything there is to know about beer. Eric is obsessed with all Pittsburgh teams and loves Zappa and Allman as much as Hilary and Erick do. He loves the outdoors but not bug bites. You should look forward to Eric's dance moves, specifically after a few of the aforementioned beers.
Mic Davis
Groomsman
Erick and Mic were in the same 5th grade class and grew up together in Myrtle. They met walking home from school together in fourth grade. They lived with each other in Columbia, SC after Erick graduated from Wofford and then again in Austin, TX after Erick graduated from grad school. Hilary and Erick were with Mic at his first music festival, The Hangout in Gulf Shores Alabama. These three also went to Wakarusa together in Ozark, AK and forgot their tent and the EZ-Up blew away. They all slept together completely filthy in Hilary's car during the tornados and ended up having more fun in Nashville on the way home. Mic is also the father to Zappa’s ex-bf Tyson, a beautiful sweet boxer.
Jonathan Royer
Groomsman
Jonathan is Hilary’s younger brother. Jonathan was there the first night that Hilary and Erick hung out at Wofford 8 years ago and he was an integral part of the engagement. He has a beautiful GSP named Mallie, she was supposed to retrieve Mallard ducks but really only hunts for Oreos in the couch cushions. Jonathan loves to hunt, fish and drive big trucks. He is one of those people that is friends with everyone and will do anything to help someone out. Jonathan taught Erick how to scurf and runs laps around Hilary on a dirt bike.He is the cool kid and also dresses hella fresh.
Allen McAfee
Groomsman
Erick and Allen were Pi Kappa Alpha pledge brothers at Wofford and lived together senior year. Allen took Hilary and Erick under his wing in St. Pete FL. They became close grilling buddies and chicken wing aficionados. Allen is a gamer king and backyard stone laying pro. He is basically the boy version of 27 Dresses because everyone loves him and wants him to stand by them on their special day.
Zappa Royer
Flower girl
Zappa is our 6 year old yellow lab. Erick gave her to Hilary at the end of Junior year at Wofford. She is named after Frank Zappa and has the same spirit. She gives the best puppy kisses and knows when you are sad or not feeling well. She can swim for hours and hours, lives to play with tennis balls, and competes in SEWE dock diving competitions every year in Charleston. Zappa is also quite esteemed and has "graduated" from Wofford and Emory! She won’t be throwing any flowers at the wedding but she will be cute as heck and giving out tons of puppy kisses!
Rob Levin
Officiant
Levin and Erick were Pi Kappa Alpha pledge brothers and senior year roommates. Erick was a groomsman in Levin’s wedding and Hilary and Levin both attended Emory for grad school. Levin is one of those people that after a brief conversation you feel more intelligent. He has the kindest heart and when Erick suggested that he officiate the wedding, Hilary’s eyes lit up! He isn’t a pastor but studied religion at Wofford and Emory. Rob was ordained from the Universal Life Church just for the wedding! How exciting :)
Allman Royer
Ring Bearer
Allman was the engagement puppy! She is a staffy angel that loves to snuggle, wear sweaters, and give tons of puppy kisses. She hates walking in wet grass and despises cold weather. Allman is named after the Allman Brothers, a band that Erick and Hilary love and saw several times while they were still touring.
