Emalie and Brian

The story of Emalie and Brian begins at Saint Bonaventure High School in Ventura California in 2003. Emalie was a 15 year old Austin Texas girl who had made her way to the California coast when her parents were transferred there for work. She didn't know a single soul, but luckily she joined the Drama program and began to meet friends. One of those friends was Brian.

Emalie and Brian would go on to star in several productions together at Saint Bonaventure including Les Miserables, Footloose, and West Side Story. Here is them in Footloose!

Brian and Emalie went through a lot together in the early years of their relationship.  Though what happened was a blessing, their hardships made it difficult for them to remain friends and so to both of their regret, they parted ways. 

Emalie got accepted to the prestigious Actor Training Program at the University of Utah where she would go on to receive a bachelor's degree in Drama. After graduation she headed out to the City of Dreams, Los Angeles, to pursue her love of acting. Meanwhile thousands of miles away....

...while Emalie was studying in Utah, Brian was attending the world renowned Berklee School of Music in Boston. After graduation he moved to France where he joined the musical group The Phly Boyz and got to travel the world preforming. But after years on the road he realized something was missing.

Brian couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful girl that he had known all those years ago. He worked up the courage to ask her for coffee. It had been almost 10 years since they had even spoken. When he called she was reluctant because of everything they had endured together, but she agreed to meet him...

When they reunited time stood still, and everything seemed to make perfect sense. They hadn't realized it until then, but all of those years apart they had actually just been waiting to return to one another. Fate destined for them to be in the same place at the same time to be able to come together once again.

On Christmas Eve in Lubbock Texas, Emalie's family gathered around the fire to watch her and Brian serenade them. Unbeknownst to anyone, Brian had something special planned for the encore.
