LIFE IS MYSTERIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL..
Their story began in 1996 when they met in Junior High School. Being each other’s soulmates 28 years later was the last thought in their minds. Even though, they were very popular in separate circles they both considered one another “Dorks” with common friends. Humberto’s crush for Elyse was no match for the strong friendship they built because he was only 4 ft 9 inches. This crush remained locked in Humberto’s heart. Fast forward years later, Pandora’s box needed to be open causing him to utilize his detective skills and open a search investigation to locate this missing crush. The search tool chosen for this investigation was “Facebook”.
Conversations seemed endless…and passion for one another started to build They immediately shared common ground on family, core values, and foresee a picture perfect future. These two Junior High School lovebirds found courage to go out on a date where Elyse found out Humberto grew to a Whooping 6 ft 2 inches. And boy was there fireworks!! No date ends perfect unless it ends with something special, for them it was their first kiss which led them falling instantly in Love. “Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning”.
The couples journey was not a typical one and some could argue it was a bit out of order. Both took many risks and put alot of faith in each other. Together, they discovered that the best adventures are the ones they created with each other. These risks led them to bring into the world their greatest blessings: Kayleen, Izabella, Mason, & Scarlette. Their children helped them to create a family drawn together by love and held together by devotion.
THE PROPOSAL...
Humberto created an unforgettable dream proposal to ask Elyse for her hand in marriage on a private beach. He had a team set large LED letters that spelled out “MARRY ME “. In the middle of the sign was a 8ft heart shaped arch made of white roses which created a magical atmosphere. The pathway way strewn with white rose petals and rose alleys. The mood was set with a live violinist playing there special song. It was a dream come true for Elyse as she said yes! It was an unforgettable marriage proposal as the sunset on the shores of Punta Cana. A place which holds dear to them both, a place of family origins, and a place they chose to tie the knot at.

Other Dining Options to enjoy casual dining at Altos de Chavón
1. Bring sunscreen. You can buy some at the gift shop but it will run you ~$15 per bottle. So bring it.
2. The blow dryers in the room are pretty awful. So if you need a good blow dryer… bring it.
3. You do not need to bring beach bags or towels. They provide you with nice fluffy beach towels any time you need one, also there is a nice beach bag in your room that you are able to use for the entirety of your trip.
