Welcome
We are getting married and your presence would mean the absolute world to us! We invite you to join us in Portugal for our ceremony, followed by dinner, drinks, & dancing. The festivities continue into a relaxed and casual day two, so get ready for even more fun!
Portugal holds a special place in our hearts. The breathtaking scenery is just one of the reasons we chose this location, and we’re excited to share it with you.
Please note: the wedding venue (Tivoli Carvoeiro) is 25 mins from Alvor Village which is the recommended base for all of our guests. Alvor Village has more to offer in terms of tours, walks, beaches, bars, restaurants etc. We will put on transfers to and from Alvor to the wedding venue on the day.

Can all guests please gather at the Tivoli Carvoeiro before 3:30pm or you'll miss the best bit!
The Ceremony will be followed by a drinks reception, dinner, and speeches, then we party into the wee hours!
Transport from Tivoli Carvoeiro back to Alvor will be provided at the end of the night.

For anyone staying in Alvor - we will be putting on transport for the day. Details of times/locations of pick-ups/drop-offs to be confirmed closer to the date.
Transfers from Alvor to Tivoli Carvoeiro
We will be putting on transfers from Alvor to the Tivoli Carvoeiro on the day of the wedding.
To help us organize pick-ups, please send us:
• The name of your hotel
• A contact name and number for someone who’ll have their phone on
We’ll share your pick-up time and driver details closer to the day — timings will be given within a 15-minute window.
Getting You Home
When the dancing winds down, your trip home is on us!
We’ve arranged taxis from 10:00 PM to 2:30 AM to take you back to your hotel.
Just ask at reception when you’re ready to leave — our taxis will be waiting outside to bring you safely back.
Smart
We can't predict the weather exactly, but it's Portugal, so expect a warm day! Evenings can get a bit breezy (although not usually in June), but ladies, you might want to bring something light to throw over your shoulders just in case.

We’re so excited to keep the celebrations going and would love for you to join us for a relaxed and casual Day 2 Celebration in beautiful Alvor!
We’ll be gathering at the Tivoli Alvor Resort, where we’re staying. It’s an all-inclusive resort, so many of you will already be there — but for anyone joining just for Day 2, you are more than welcome!
The celebration will take place in the resort’s VIP marquee tent area. From reception, turn right and follow the path — we’ll have signs, balloons, or markers along the way to guide you.
You don’t need to check in at reception, but if you’re approached by staff or security, simply let them know you’re attending the Duffy Party.
We’ll have a buffet, drinks, music, and more dancing, so come ready for a fun-filled evening!

••Preferential Room Rates••
We will be staying at the Tivoli Alvor, an all-inclusive family resort with a spa. The hotel has kindly offered us a preferential room rate per night. We understand that this type of accommodation may not be for everyone, but for those who are interested, the option is available.
For guests who prefer convenience, we have a recommended travel agent who can take care of your travel arrangements and create a package for you. However, for this particular hotel only, our rates may be more favourable.
To take advantage of these rates, all reservations must go through Ana Margarita, email bo.alvor@tivoli-hotels.com and mention that you are booking as part of the Duffy wedding party.
Prices per room category, per night for the month of June 2025:
√- Double Room €250 (room suitable for 2, sofa bed for a child but not that comfortable for 3 people)
√- Family Deluxe Room €340 (room suitable for 4, One Double bed with sliding door separated, a twin room)
√- Premium Two Bedroom €520 (suitable for 6 people, being the best option 2 adults and a child in each room)
If you book through an agent they will usually look after your transfers to the hotels.

We will be staying in its sister hotel, Tivoli Alvor which is an All-inclusive family-friendly Resort. This hotel boasts 4 restaurants, 2 bars, 5 pools, a gym, and a spa.
They have a courtesy train which goes into the little fishing village of Alvor every hour and the beach is a 15-minute walk away.
