Where will the wedding be held?
The wedding and reception will be held at the Hilton Norfolk The Main in Norfolk, VA. The address is 100 E Main Street Norfolk, Virginia 23510. Their phone number is (757) 763-6200.
What time does the wedding begin?
The Williams' wedding will begin promptly at 6pm. Seating will begin at 5:15pm. Guest arriving after the ceremony begins will not be permitted entrance to avoid disruption.
When should I RSVP?
All RSVP’s must be confirmed by July 22, 2022 through this website. Please note, no RSVP’s will be accepted after the deadline. if you have not responded by July 22nd, your RSVP will be noted as declined.
How are you all handling COVID?
As safely and thoughtfully as possible. Although we are elated to celebrate this special moment with loved ones, the safety of our guest is our top priority. With that being said, please stay home if you aren’t feeling well.
May I bring a plus 1?
We wish everyone could celebrate with us, unfortunately we are at capacity due to reserved seating. Please do not bring anyone extra if you were not addressed a plus one. Please respect our wishes and do not ask to bring a plus one. When you RSVP, if you have been given a plus one, their name will appear with yours as a group.
Your plus one is not transferrable in the event that your guest can not attend. This event is for our closest friends and family only.
Are children welcomed?
We love your little ones, but the ceremony & reception are STRICTLY adults only with the exception of those in the wedding party. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the celebration with us.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is. The dress code is ALL BLACK formal attire. Men in black suits or tuxedos. Ladies in black floor length gowns (no trains please) or dressy pant suit. Absolutely no jeans or casual wear. Click on the link for inspiration photos.
Can we take pictures during the ceremony and reception?
Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you respect our wishes and kindly put away all phones, cameras and electronic devices during the ceremony in order to be fully present in the moment. We’ve hired a team of professional photographers and videographers to capture special moments. We will be sure to share all of the pictures and videos once they are available.
During the reception, we encourage you to have fun and take as many pictures, Snapchat stories and IG videos as you want!
Is there a hashtag?
Yes! Please use #awilliamstimesyes when tagging on social media. We would love to see your memories of our special day.
