Jasmin and I have been friends since college. After pledging, we became long time roommates. Jasmin has been the best sister a girl could ever ask for. She has always supported me in every endeavor. Dr. Jenelle Simpson

I met Dr. Jenelle Simpson (my girl is a DOCTOR!) during my sophomore year college. When I met her, she was my advisor of our illustrious sorority Delta Sigma Theta Inc. She then fell into the role of my big sister then right-hand man or woman shall I say. A trusted friend, mentor and support system of our little family. Jenelle is a true rock in our life.

Kersyne Redcross

Kersyne and I met during my freshman year in college. We actually shared the same car to travel home for 2 years! lol! Weve had many memorable moments together. I can always count on Kers for encouragement, great laughs and prayer. I'm so glad she is apart of another momentous celebration.

Kristin Mitchell

Kristin and I met in 2013 when I met Desmond's family. She is genuinely the sweetest person and will go the extra mile for anyone. From day one she has shown me so much love. The love she has for her brother shows through her love for me. She has such a genuine soul and I'm so glad that I can now call her my sister.

Taylor Walls

Taylor and I met as coworkers, quickly became friends and are now sisters. The amount of love she gives not only me, but my family is admirable. She is selfless and her love shows through her actions. Taylor always shows up. She is the perfect mix of fun and fierceness! My go-to gal and Dylan's G-mommy.

Tori Jones

Tori and I have been friends since middle school. There is no amount of time or distance that can derail our unbreakable bond. I knew from the beginning that she would be standing next to me on my special day because she (and Whitney) really were the only people that could spend the night at my house. My mom kept a tight rope on all of us lol. She is one of the most authentic people in my circle and always just a phone call away.

Plus she wouldn't have it any other way. She is truly our sunshine. Shes smart, charismatic and the best cheerleader you will ever meet.

Darrius, my partner in crime, my Best Man. We started playing football together as adolescents and the rest is history. We grew up, went to high school, and then eventually college together. I always reference Darrius as my favorite receiver. After high school we played college football together and then went on to graduate from Elizabeth City State University. With his wit and my charm, we were definitely a force to be reckoned with. If I had to create a definition of the title "Best Man", Darrius would be it.

My baby brother, my only biological brother & my best man. I practically helped raise Greg, which probably explains why I'm so hard on him. I love him more than he will ever know. I admire who he has grown to become. I'm so proud that he is currently obtaining his masters at Elizabeth City. There is no way I wouldn't have my baby brother as my best man.

Dylan is my first and only son, my dawg. At just three years old, Dylan is just full of energy and life. He brings the best out of me. It is truly and honor to have him witness his Daddy marry his Mommy.

Shaun is like a big brother to me in many ways. He is someone I can call on, someone that will shoot it to me straight regardless how I may feel. We grew up together, played sports together, hung out after school and our bond strengthened throughout our high school years. He is one that I can call on for anything. Vick and I have been friends since daycare. We graduated from Pre-k together. Vick was my first friend. Vick's father baptized me early on in life. When his family moved to Virginia, it never stopped us from communicating with each other. We then linked back up as suitemates in college. My dawg, my brother. I know this day wouldn't be complete without him by my side.

Juan is definitely someone that I have always looked up to and admired. Growing up in a small town, Juan set the standard for the athletes in our area. He gave us all something to work towards. Our relationship has grown so much over the years. from being athletes to friends. Juan is one that I consider a brother, one who is always going to have my best interest at heart.

Kent and I started began our friendship at an early age. Kent is one year older than me so everything we did was always competitive in nature. Honestly, our competitiveness is what molded our friendship into what it is today. In high school, Kent was the star basketball player, while I was the star football player. We both went on to receive scholarships to Old Dominion University. Even though our college careers didn't align with one another our friendship always remained the same. Casey, my brother from another. Our relationship started back when we were younger. True story...Casey chipped my tooth when I was in elementary school. But on the real, I'm honored to have Casey to stand beside me. We've been through a lot and I'm proud of the men that we have become.
