Deepta and Quinn (officially, "Raman") first met back in 2012 at Rutgers University. We got to know each other during our time on the Rutgers Debate Team, through competing at debate tournaments across the country, as well as through the hours of van rides along the way.
In fact, our venue, the DoubleTree, is exactly where the debate team used to pick up the rental vans from Enterprise very early in the morning every Friday, as some of our friends may painfully recollect.
In March 2019, upon realizing that Rutgers Law and NYU Stern shared the same spring break week, we made a last-minute plan to road trip down to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.
On day three, we hiked up Mount LeConte along the Alum Cave trail. At the highest point of the hike, Quinn proposed to Deepta, and we officially agreed to marry each other.
We are so excited to be together, and to have you be a part of our long-awaited day.
