Getting There
The wedding will be at the Millhouse in Slane, situated around 40 minutes drive north of Dublin. Please see the following sections on travelling there and the hotels tab above for accommodation suggestions in the area. Those staying at the venue will have been informed.
The day after the wedding is Good Friday and a bank holiday so we are inviting people to carry on the celebrations at the Allen's. This is situated just over the border in Northern Ireland and around 90 minutes' drive from Slane. Again, suggestions for travelling there are shown in the sections below and accommodation suggestions are in the tab above.
Getting to the Venue
The Millhouse, Slane is approximately 40 minutes drive from Dublin airport and 50 minutes from Dublin ferry port.
From Belfast international airport it is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes' drive to Slane.
Getting to the Allen's
The Allen's is approximately a 90 minute drive from the venue, situated between the towns of Clones and Newtownbutler, just over the border in Northern Ireland.

Dublin
The closest airport to the venue is Dublin International airport. Ryanair and Aer Lingus offer a good variety of flights to and from Newcastle and other UK airports.
Belfast
You can fly to Belfast international airport direct from Newcastle and other major UK airports with Easyjet.
Sail to Dublin or Belfast
Stenaline and Irish ferries offer a variety of sailings to Ireland from UK ports if you would prefer to drive and take your own car.

Driving in Ireland
The easiest way to get around is to hire a car and drive. You can hire cars easily from both Dublin and Belfast Airports.
If you hire from Belfast and drive into the south there will be added charges to the rental for crossing the border.
