For those of you who may not be aware, our legal marriage was a very small, immediate family - only gathering at the Henley Rooms registry office on 31st August 2023. We chose to do this because Alveston Pastures is an unlicensed venue so we couldn’t legally get married there. We toyed with doing the official stuff on the same day as our big wedding ceremony, however, The Henley Room only has a capacity of 40, limiting our guest list considerably. We decided to have our Big White Wedding exactly one year after the legal stuff to save having to remember two dates, give us time to prepare and have everyone we love there with us ❤️
