Most of you will know our story, but we thought it would be fun to share a few small clips of our time together.
We first met in Fort Worth, TX in June 2017. Matt was on a 6-week trip across the southern states of America. Meagan was having a girls night with friends. Fate brought us both to the world's largest honkey tonk to partake in two-stepping and pool playing. We hit it off and quickly realised we had many things in common...besides living on completely opposite sides of the world.
Fast forward to December 2017 when Meagan jumped on a plane to Sydney, Australia to explore the world Down Under and get a glimpse of Matt's life.
We met up throughout the next year in different places around the world to see each other. We travelled to Hawaii, Mexico, the Great Barrier Reef, along with a couple trips to Sydney and Dallas. When we were apart we FaceTimed everyday, cooking together, watching Netflix together, planning our next trip. There was never a dull moment.
In December 2018, Meagan sold 98% of her belongings and packed up the 2% and moved to Sydney, Australia.
Over the past 3 years we settled in and made a life together with our dog Molly.
Now the next big chapter of our life together will be in Texas! We can’t wait to put down roots and plant our feet in the US.
In December 2019, we travelled to Dallas, TX to wrap up the year with Meagan’s family for the holidays. After an amazing few days of family and friend catch ups, our trip was made all the more special by Matt popping the big question at the top of Reunion Tower!
We first visited Mexico in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the beaches, the culture, the food and the tequila! We hope all of those things will make for a great wedding.
After a very long wait we are beyond excited to get married in this slice of paradise and hope that you can join us to celebrate our special day and the start of our next chapter as Mr & Mrs!
